The only problem I see is going around corners :oops:
Put the tailgate in the mid position, with cut to fit 2 x 12's, and use 3/4" marine grade plywood setting on the tailgate, this will spread the weight over a much larger area, add air bags when they become available. (y)

The battery might be your problem.
Any autosupply can do a load test on the battery.
We were taught that a 12v battery reading anything at or below 12vdc at rest needs to be replaced asap.
If not replaced soon even the start function :eek: will stop working!
Replacing the cord it a constant recommendation on a Hyundai forum I'm on :unsure: most of the time using a quality cord resolves the problem (y)
This is the cord I'm currently using, :eek: it's time to throw it away, they DO wear out AND get dirty.
