Unless ford has changed something :unsure: the 12v battery does not start the ICE, it just operates relays for the HVB to start the ICE.

We were taught that a 12v battery reading anything at or below 12vdc at rest needs to be replaced asap. If not replaced soon even the start function :eek: will stop working!

Replacing the cord it a constant recommendation on a Hyundai forum I'm on :unsure: most of the time using a quality cord resolves the problem (y) This is the cord I'm currently using, :eek: it's time to throw it away, they DO wear out AND get dirty.
