Keep in mind that you have equal chance of being scheduled/built in Jan as Sept, and any time in between. Also, many 23s are already ''in the works'', and many are hybrids. There is simply very little anyone can do to make an educated guess as to when their truck will be scheduled/built...
They literally are 100% equal and indistinguishable in FMC's system. The only advantage someone is group 2 would have, is IF there is a similar build new order at their same dealer, AND IF their dealer gave them a higher priority. Not a super common scenario.

Yeah I think that is mostly accurate. Might be a few oddballs, but your 3 are pretty much it, and a decent segregation. Keep in mind though, the middle group, who never had 22 VINs, is the worst group to be in. They could have ordered a year ago and as far as FMC is concerned, they are the same...
While some orders, such as yours, have been delayed repeatedly, the vast majority of orders get one build date and that is that. Delays are the exception. Build dates being correct the first time is the norm.
