The holes in my bed need to be tapped M-8. 5/16-18 is close, but the threads might not be deep enough to hold enough. I bought these on amazon. The holes seem to line up, but have not gotten around to installing them:

They may be M8, but the M8-1.25 bolts I bought at Tractor Supply don't want to thread in. Looking at the hole, it looks like a finer thread. I plan to try M8-1.00 bolts, and will try to remember to report back.
UPDATE: M8-1.25 bolts do fit, it just takes a little extra force to overcome the...
Thanks for starting this thread and sharing.
I took a little different approach. I wanted to leave the drain holes open in the front and put the 'jigsaw' cuts over a rib. A downside to this may be access to the rear side doors. The pad is dented & stained, but seems to be holding up well.
STEP, STP, IGES, & IGS files can be opened with most commercial 3D CAD programs (SolidWorks, Inventor, ProE/Widlfire, ...) If you have an engineer friend that uses one of those programs, they can be exported to STL or OBJ files.
There is also a free program names "FreeCAD" that I have used for...
Sadly the same happened to my order. On the rare occurrences when the Ford tracking is working, it has been showing "Built" for a month or so. Don't worry:
'Your vehicle has been built and we are arranging shipment to your dealer. This step could take a few days to a week. Select the "Learn...
Mine says 6/30/2022 (looking at the date below "SPECIAL ORDER"). Ordered 9/2021. Supposedly Built 8/9/22. Still waiting to ship. 'Stripper' XL. I ordered a sliding rear window, so Co-Pilot 360 was required for some reason.
I am wondering if I'll sign up for Ford Pass when (IF) my Maverick is delivered.

If you know your order # and VIN, you can try the site:
https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking
It seems to work about 10% of the time. It seems to help if you set up an account and add your VIN to your vehicles (but that may be just 'black magic').
I cannot explain, just tell my experience, which is similar.
I received several emails from April on, each pushing the scheduled build week out a week or so out each time. Initially (on rare times when it worked) the website showed it in production in early June, but at the end of the week...
Back in November, 2021, I saw 2 white 2.0 Eco Boosts at the Ford dealer in Foley, AL.
The only option I can remember was a trailer hitch. They were the only new vehicles in the lot, and were gone a few days later.
Same here. https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking only works once or twice a week.
After Order # & VIN are put in, it just returns to the same entry screen.
Earlier this week, my Maverick HYBRID showed 'In Production', like it did a month ago.
Last month (when I got the website to work)...
About the same for my XL Hybrid. Original email from April said said build date early May, weekly emails pushed it out to week of 6/6. On the week of 6/6 website showed 'In Production'. On 6/15 received email that said Production moved to week of 6/27 and website is back to 'Ordered' (on...
Great detailed analysis. Thanks!
FYI: Our 2021 KIA Niro also has an 'optimistic' dashboard MPG estimate. Over several fillups (5,000 miles) it averaged 8% high (assuming the odometer is correct). My Maverick was shown in production this last week. Cannot wait to get it!
