So realistically, what's my chance of getting a hybrid by the end of the year? I have two hybrids on order, one is a lariat, the other is an XLT......I figure that everyone has about a 45% chance of having their hybrid built, so that puts me at about a 90% chance of having one of them built...
What is priority 99? I thought priority 19 was the highest number, which is what I have on my retail order. I'm assuming retail orders have priority over these priority 99 orders?
So, I saw this picture on another forum (Not my picture), and it gave me a great idea for extending the Maverick bed space up to 3 feet, making the bed length almost 8 feet total. If you could build some plywood sides around this to match the height of the truck bed, and beef it up with a 2x4...
I'm curious why Tim would say to leave the spray in bedliner off of your order if only half of the capacity was met for it. Should I remove it from my order?
So should I remove the spray in bed liner option or keep it? According to the latest info, it doesn't appear to be a constraint relevant to the orders for that option. Is it too late to remove options from my order?
Actually, going by the latest info from Ford Video Guy, the number is pretty close to 50%. See below:
According to Tim this evening:
68% Hybrid orders compared to 35% capacity.
32% EB orders compared to 65% capacity.
Other than the hybrid, standalone tow hitch and splashguards seem to be the...
Does anyone know which hybrid builds that Ford is prioritizing? (Lariat, XLT, or XL). I currently have a Lariat Hybrid with Luxury package and co-pilot assist on order, as well as an order for an XLT hybrid with luxury package and co-pilot 360 on order. The XLT was ordered first and was placed...
So, assuming that half of all hybrids will be built, do you think that having 2 orders for a hybrid means a pretty good chance that one of them will be built? I have a Lariat with lux and co-pilot assist, and an XLT with lux and co-pilot 360 on order. Both are hybrids. I'm only wanting the...
I think the hybrids are the most popular choice everywhere. I live in Southeast Texas where gas is $2.80 a gallon right now, and I still ordered a hybrid. Most of everyone else I know that ordered a Maverick in the Houston area also ordered hybrids
Has anyone heard if these low allocation numbers that people are posting is real? I haven't heard anything about allocations from either of my dealers, but several people on here said some dealers were only getting a few allocations for the whole year
That's exactly what I thought too. It doesn't make sense to cut off retail orders early and still accept dealer orders if they couldn't even fulfill the retail orders. The fact that they are still going to accept dealer orders makes it seem like they should be able to fulfill most retail orders
Does how early you placed an order actually matter if your dealer gave everybody a priority 19 code? My dealer said everyone is 19 unless they were rollovers
Yes, exactly! My Ecoboost f150 gets better gas mileage than the Toyota tundra hybrid. The tundra hybrid was so disappointing. I would much rather see 30+ mpg and less horsepower and torque
If I hadn't read some of the dealer allocation stories on here, I would agree with you. What you are saying makes sense to me, but apparently allocations are really low.....
