Loss of TQ is an issue. TQ is what gets you to where HP becomes useful. Without TQ you will take longer to get from point a to point b.

If you want side exit, I would go with AFE, although I have no personal experience with them. If you just want side exit you can go like I did with MBRP and buy a different tip.
