I just posted this, and when I got home last night I had a letter from State Farm, my premium for my maverick is going up $21/mo, which represents a nearly 40% increase. :(
I have three cars (one driven by a teenager) and my premium for all three is roughly $900/6 months. I can't imagine paying so much that I could save $1675/6 months.
I think a single cab version with either the same bed or just a longer bed would be popular, especially in commercial fleets. And if they moved the shifter and made it a bench seat instead, that would have been amazing.
I didn't "need" a new vehicle when I ordered my maverick, I just wanted one. My previous car continued running fine for the entire 15 months I waited, so it wasn't really an issue for me.
Either that or you can purchase a wireless dongle, that will enable wireless car play or android auto, but the truck needs something plugged in either way. Bluetooth works fine if you want a wireless experience, it's just not as slick of an interface and you have to use the ford maps app for...
Like many Maverick owners, I waited a long time between order and delivery. I placed my initial order for a Lariat Lux 2.0 EB on January 17th, 2022, rolled over in September 2022, and took delivery April 5th, 2023. I was worried that I would be underwhelmed after all the waiting, but it turns...
I saw on your page that you have a kit to swap a ranger 2.3 turbo, but no write ups from anyone saying they have done it. Is that part of your future reveal?
The FACTORY exhaust note on my last car, a 1.4L turbo Dodge Dart was one of the better things about the car. I got compliments about the sound quite often. It can be done.
That sucks. I watched the order tracker DAILY once I got the build scheduled email. I knew my truck was delivered before it was even in the dealer's inventory and picked it up the same day it was delivered. While my dealership (Sam Leman Ford in Bloomington, IL) was really great, I wasn't...
I have the rough country hard tri-fold and am satisfied with it. Water can still get in near the tailgate but upon inspection I don't think any tri-fold could prevent that unless it extended past the gate. It was easy enough to install by myself. Only downsides: the third panel does not flip...
It only needs to be smarter than us because it was designed that way. For instance, on a manual transmission, there is usually a physical lockout device you must activate in order to shift to reverse. But since the computer can stop you from doing that, there is no need for a physical safety...
does disabling ASS count as flashing? I want to make sure I don't mess with my warranty at this point, but I will want to tune later on. I want to disable ASS today, so I might buy the cobb so I can achieve this goal and be ready for more power post-warranty.
I have this tonneau cover and it is good, but not great. It is no secret the third panel does not flip up, so it limits the usage of your bed when it is installed. Plan ahead before you go to the hardware store. The cover leaks when I wash the truck with a pressure washer, but not from...
