I think this is good news overall but it's all in how it unfolds.
Ford needs an incentive to keep the maverick from creeping up in cost. Can't have it both ways on price and quality.
That said, if Toyota comes in on the high side with pricing, Ford will probably just a follow them at least to...
Just to update this thread, I held off on employee pricing (not in a rush). The market is definitely shifting - dealers are calling me regularly. I wonder if Ford will respond on August 1 with new incentives or if it's sink/swim for dealers.
The deals were definitely good but they list their prices assuming you will finance with them (add $1k if not) and then shipping depending on where you are.
Flying and driving back was not feasible for me and shipping kind of killed the deal for me but it was a great deal for those who could...
Ford has nothing going for incentives now on the Maverick per a dealer I spoke with today. Will be very interesting to see how Q3 works.
No more monthly numbers, right?
Thanks everyone for the active thread. Sounds pretty resounding for the '25. The market is so silly right now.
I only know what the Carfax says on the 23, it's clean.
Having been following the market for a while, if the Ford A plan discount really ends, seems like sales will slow to a crawl...
This is for a an XLT with not too much (4k tow).
Comparing a used 23 with around 15k miles versus a new 25 XLT. The spread is about $3.5k between the cost.
In this weird car market, used and new are not terribly far apart on price.
What do you think?
Thanks for the reply. Searching a pretty big area, even nationwide.
I can find many of Mavs to buy but not any real deals. That's what I don't understand.
First post.
Been trying to pick up a Mav for about 3 months. Ideally just looking for an XLT with the 4k tow package. Relatively flexible on the color.
First, spent time chasing down used options. Found a handful of options but the prices basically right around 30k (before taxes and fees) for...
