With the Plug-in, I have concerns about the ICE. My commute is only 23 miles. If electric range was 40, I would never use the ICE, as I would be able to plug in at work. ICE needs to be use just like muscles. I have a FE FWD and I am happy. Getting 50+ MPG on my commute. I would not trade...
You funny. I ordered from them. My actual cost was $800 more than DORA. I signed they did not. It was from Chapman-Horsham. From the forum, it appears Chapman-Philadelphia has principles and actually honors the DORA/
I have the Sentry hard rolling cover. For me, it was what I had available and it actually worked almost perfectly. 2x6 boards across. They had to be trimmed to fit the spray in liner and the Ford logo in the front of the bed. The plywood is 3/4 in 2x4 (I had a 2x8 piece). Plywood was painted...
If the dealer, in an email, tells you "the price you order is the price you get plus tax, tags and doc fee", how is it VERY obvious it will be the current invoice price? Specially when orders before mine, delivered after December, received the original invoice 4% under.
Yes, great deal. Yes, I...
I understand what you are trying to say. I tried to understand. Wrote email in December to find out if my price had changed. I was assured by the GM, the price was the same.
From that email I gather price protection for MSRP would be honored. Since the invoice is lower (price protection)...
Has nothing to do with Ford. The price is protected by Ford, the dealership will get the money from Ford. If they would have told me from the beginning it was FINAL invoice, I would have bought it from them and be happy to pay the extra $800. Even in December, at price increase from Ford, I...
Has nothing to do with with internet savvy. Tell me you are selling me something for a price and the charge more has more to do with integrity. It is also stupid business when I am local and will not use them again with 4-5 other Ford dealerships within 20 minutes..
They gave me 4% under FINAL invoice. Still a good deal, but I questioned my price when prices changed in December and was told (email) it was still the original deal. I don't know what changed. Ir was $800 more than anticipated.
I was never told it would be 4% off FINAL invoice. I was told it was from the order time, even after questioning the price change. I really did not appreciate this fact/
Stopped by local dealership and inquired about the cord. He seemed to have a clue about the Maverick and the pull cord. Told him my hybrid did not have such cord. He stated that made sense since the electric motor can't be disconnected from the transmission. From this I gather the hybrids do...
Last fill-up (3rd): 47 MPG by onboard. 48 MPG calculated. 2480 miles total. 600+ miles per fill-up (1st tank from dealer). The first two fill-ups had a 3-4 MPG higher onboard than calculated. Lots of suburban driving with 45 MPH speed limit.
I agree. For me it was the price point and the MPG. I did go for the hybrid, even with FWD in the Northeast. I am glad there is competition, and I am hoping for a mini-Taco. I also want Hyundai to wake up and make the Santa Cruz Hybrid on the base model, just put that Tucson powertrain in there.
