My truck has been sitting in a "truck yard" outside of Atlanta for a month and a half, waiting to be shipped 3 hours north. Every week they keep moving my due date out. Very frustrating. I could have walked to Atlanta and picked it up myself in this amount of time. Is this normal?
I'm 56 and I work at a Auto parts mfg in east tennessee. I currently drive a very plain 2010 Ford Ranger that is good, and does it's job, but I knew I was going to need a new truck one day, and the Maverick caught my eye when it first came out. Hopefully it will be my last one, and it looks like...
Good idea on the post it note. Years ago I had a hunch that my tires wasn't actually getting rotated at my local Ford dealership, so I marked them with a sharpie. I was right. They weren't getting rotated. Stopped all my business old and new with them for over 10 years.
Dang guys, quit showing these post. My 2023 Lariat Area 51 has been sitting in a "truck yard" for two weeks and it's only 3.5 hours away. Still got 2 weeks to go according to my last email. I'm 56 years old and I'm feeling like a 5 year old on Christmas Eve.
It say it was shipped on 1/5/23. My original due date for it to be shipped to my dealership was Jan. 15th to the 21st, but when it arrived at the "truck yard" that changed to Feb. 12th to the 18th. There must be a lot of trucks sitting down there.
I live in East Tennessee and my truck is sitting at a "Truck yard" in Hapeville, GA. It's right beside the Atlanta airport. Maybe that's where your truck is going to, or maybe there's a place "yard" closer to you than this place.
I found that going on Ford.com and going to their customer chat is an easy way to find your status. As long as you have the VIN and Order numbers, they will give you the status of your order and sometimes give you your rail car information.
On Dec. 21st, my local credit union give me a rate of 3.24 when I told her I had a truck coming. I just checked their website and the lowest one I say was 3.99. I don't know how long the 3.24 quote is good for, but it doesn't help when Ford keeps pushing out my delivery date. When I spoke to my...
When you do get a VIN number, you can go to Ford.com and go to Contact and then to the chat. Give them your VIN and Order number and ask for the status. You will get more that just the basic that you get on the normal tracking. If it's on a train, they will tell you where the last city you truck...
It may be true that it will get your Maverick built quicker, but my Maverick reached it "Truck Yard" two weeks ago which is 3.5 hours from my dealership. When it arrived there, they changed my shipped date from 1/15 - 1/21 to 2/12 - 2/18, so just because you will get your Truck built quicker...
Looks great. My Lariat Tier 51 is due any day now. It's off the train and waiting for a truck to pick it up. Seeing another Tier 51 makes my wait that much harder.
I looked at Ted Russell Fords google reviews today, and it appears plenty of people have voiced their displeasure with this situation. Their reviews weren't the greatest in the world to begin with.
