Sounds like the dealer is either lying or doesn’t understand Fords allocation system and how many allocations they will get and possibly took too many orders and will not get them built by summer of 2022.

AFAIK dealer order codes for customers is from 10-19. Anything higher than 19 is a dealer stock order. Code 2 is Ford previewing which you can’t make any changes.

I’d rather have my hybrid lariat than any of the other trucks there to be honest. There’s something about a small fuel efficient cheaper truck that is satisfying.

I wouldn’t be interested in a hybrid AWD. My ordered hybrid Maverick will be fine for me for the foreseeable future. If they ever do come out with one it probably won’t be for a couple of years. I would get a fully electric Maverick if it has a long range battery and can go 350-500 miles.

Don’t know. Drove up to the booth and the lady said $10. I didn’t expect any fee at all because it didn’t mention one on their website when I bought the tickets.

It must be the XL EB AWD in Area 51 because the hybrid Lariat is the pre-production model according to the display manager that’s why it’s locked.

I got the tickets online for $14 vs $15 at the door and $10 for parking. Kinda a waste of money to be honest. I had already checked out a XLT at my local dealership and sat in it so I didn’t bother sitting in the XL at the auto show.

I didn’t see any Broncos or Bronco Sorts either. They might of had some outside to test drive but didn’t see any. No line or people waiting to sit in the Maverick XL. I went about 10:30 so it wasn’t too many people.

Definitely will. Got my build date yesterday from Ford for my hybrid Lariat. Haven’t seen a Lariat in person yet so will be nice to check one out if there is one. I definitely will be asking to sign up at the booth and see if I can get the discount for attending and signing up.

It would be pretty cool if they have a 2023 Ranger their to see. If they did it probably would be a non-US model.

I’d be interested in one if done correctly and looks nice for the roof since I’m not getting a sunroof.

Sorry to hear this and other similar stories. Ask the dealer if he has any stock orders coming in and give you first dibs on it and at MSRP or lower to make up for their mistake.
