  1. Model 3 to Maverick - A 3 Year Journey, A shady dealer?

I would not have accepted the truck as a NEW truck with 900 miles on it. All NEW vehicles I have bought came with under 100 miles. If I see a truck with over 100 miles, I would ask them to either give me a discount to make it worth it or else I will just walk.
  2. Poll: Who here is interested in Buying the New Ford EV Midsize Pickup in 2027

At best, $30k before the required delivery/destination charge. Just like how the 2022 Maverick XL Hybrid for $19,995 before the required delivery/destination charge, to claim you can buy a new truck for under $20k.
  3. CV axles

When did you get your first CV axle replacement? Ford did get new part number for CV axle at the end of 2024.
  4. Tire Pressure

I fill my Maverick to 35 PSI for all 4 tires, but the Ford App has this... so it is either off on my gauge or the Ford's TPMS/App, and only off by 1/2 PSI, no biggie.
  5. 2025 Hybrid. How do you decide when to change the oil?

Follow the minder on your Maverick, make yourself some popcorn and move on with life.
  6. Ford $0 Down/ 0%/ $0 for 90 days - excluding Maverick?

And some of us got this offer from Ford via email:
  7. America’s Blind Spots Are Expanding How is the Maverick?

My Honda has the passenger side mirror along with the camera at the bottom of passenger side mirror, when the right lane change signal is on, the camera will display it on the screen. It definitely helps with lane change and i am surprised that many cars don't have the feature.
  8. Full Size Spare is smaller size than other factory tires?

There are many posts on this already. Basically spares are: 1) Donut - 155/70/17 2) Ford's full size spare 215/60/17 - on steel rim(same rims that come with XL) If you want true full size: 1) Swap out the Ford's full size spare with a 225/65/17 2) Buy 1 wheel from many XL owners who swapped...
  9. Dealer Oil Change

Swing by Discount/America Tire and get your tires rotated for FREE even if you didn't buy tires from them. If you had them mounted/balanced your tires, then you get FREE rotation + balancing for the life of the tires.
  10. OEM tires didn't last

You don't even need to get out of your house to get one. Just go on Amazon, pick up a cheap digital tire tread depth gauge, making your life easier when reading the number. Or spend even less on Amazon and get the none-digital tire tread depth gauge. Or, at your convient, drop by...
  11. Dealer Oil Change

If you don't have time to do the oil change yourself, but you have time to take it to the dealer. That doesn't make sense at all as I find DIY oil change is faster than taking it to the dealer/wait for oil change/drive home. With DIY, once in a blue moon, I would drop off the used oil at the...
  12. Tire Rotation (4 or 5)

Plenty of threads on the spare tire size on here already. Donut, Ford's "full size spare" not being true full size spare and those going out of their way to get the true full size spare, etc.
  13. CV axle - Sign of leak and likely eventual failure

Yes, I will as i do have to get my Maverick in for the backup camera recall soon.
  14. CV axle - Sign of leak and likely eventual failure

From all the failed CV axles I have heard, each time I do an oil change, I would take pictures of the axles. And I guess I will update my post on here too, we will see how much more it leaks each time I do an oil change.
  15. Socket and breaker bar for flat tire

Some have said to add a drill adapter for the scissor jack and keep a small drill in their Maverick to make life easier when using the scissor jack.
  16. Socket and breaker bar for flat tire

If you are going to work on your car, I highly suggest getting a floor jack for it and only use the scissor jack in emergency situations.
  17. Socket and breaker bar for flat tire

The M12 Stubby(M12 2563-20) should be able to handle it pretty easy with more breaking power than the older version, but you do need to use the 5.0A High Output battery. I have the older version of the M12 Stubby, and have been using it to break loose the lug nuts for the Maverick, but it...
  18. CV axle - Sign of leak and likely eventual failure

Almost a year later: 2023 XLT Hybrid - 145xx miles - Passenger side showing it leaked a little more comparing to when it had 6300 miles, see image. - No shake/vibration under acceleration yet
  19. 2.0 supposed to tow up to 4K lbs. Not so!

Did not clearly say if the truck is the AWD with 4K tow package or just the FWD 2.0 without the 4K tow package.
