If you knew you had a recall you should have scheduled it and had your oil changed at that time too. We owners have the responsibility of caring for our vehicle.
CV type axles were not OE designed for lift kits. It is hit or miss it they work properly. Oversized tires will lift the body of your truck without causing axle problems. Beware there will be limits on tire size that will cause fender rub.
Use a remanufactured CV axle, just as good and cost is usually less than 1/2 the cost of an OE axle.
your noise and boot grease leakage is most likely due to the over extension of the angle of your axle due to the lift kit. This is a common problem with CV type axles that have lift kits.
What Ford does owe me is regular communication as to the status of my order.

The word I got from my dealership was that my MY22 has been moved to a MY23 build. I have received from Ford that my order has been confirmed 9/16/22 just like it was on 12/16/21. Oh well, the wait begins again! Does anyone at Ford really know what the heck is going on?
