  1. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

Off topic, I built 14.5" x 9" x 9" boxes to hold 8's and center loaded them to be able to maximize air space without fear of the woofers contacting the seat bottom...
  2. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

Here's the requested wire routing. I just extended the stock rear wires, then easily tucked them behind the plastic as shown...
  3. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

I totally agree with that, knowing full well how that works inside our real work "motorcycle forums". I hadn't planned to make more than my set and didn't come here to sell anything, but per this thread was repeatedly asked. Ignoring people didn't seem like a good option. If this had become a...
  4. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

I hadn't planned to sell them, but can, as I've already had several requests... The downside is they will be around $100 shipped. That sounds high, but it's pulling a $400 spool of carbon through a $21,000 printer for 22 hours... I could do them for half that in PLA on our other printer, but...
  5. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

Printing revised units now, to match the shape of the seat roll-off better...
  6. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

Not much difference in that regard. Either is right next to a passengers head...
  7. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

The entire system is powered by an Audio Control DSP, except these. Being rear fill only, the factory power to the rear is more than sufficient.
  8. Totally transformed rear soundstage w/ Kicker aftermarket stereo install

I've spent the last week and a half installing my stereo in the Maverick, and it all turned out fantastic, less the rears. My goal for any rears is always quality imaging and fill, and never volume, as I tend to prefer the rears roughly half the level as the front to maintain a good sound stage...
  9. Eibach Lowering springs installed, Knocking noises.

I've got a light clunk myself. I wouldn't think it is coil bind though. No hard impact on the road generates any noise at all. It's only below 5mph turning in a parking lot that it makes noise...
  10. Odd help needed from those who have lowered their trucks...

Mission complete. Gave up on the wipers, and went under the trim per previous poster's recommendations. Non-issue...
  11. Odd help needed from those who have lowered their trucks...

As stated by a prior poster, I'll just work under the trim...
  12. Odd help needed from those who have lowered their trucks...

I’ve done all that, (I stated I was mechanically sound, but you just took a shot at it “LOL”) with no luck, thus the reason I posted. You’ve posted enough already. Kudos to the others willing to help.
  13. Odd help needed from those who have lowered their trucks...

Any chance you can post a pic of the tool you came up with?
  14. Odd help needed from those who have lowered their trucks...

Not a dumb question. Oddly enough, that’s the first step of stripping layers of trim to get to the top of the shocks. I was taken off guard as much as you, trust me…
  15. Odd help needed from those who have lowered their trucks...

Great job at making assumptions while adding no value. I own a Powersports business, and design and manufacture parts for a living. Part of being a good mechanic is knowing when not to grab a booger hammer and destroy something. Clearly you don’t know the answer, as you had nothing to offer…
  16. Odd help needed from those who have lowered their trucks...

I'm a solid mechanic. Got my Eiback rear lowering springs on trouble free. Started on the front, and of all things to get stuck on, I can't get the wiper arms off no matter what I try, so I can move on to actually installing the springs. How in the world did you get your wiper arms off.....?
  17. What OEM speakers get full signal?

Thanks for the post. I guess I'm curious if the rear speakers receive the full signal range. If they are, I'll tap there, as it's closer to where my amp will be mounted. If not, I'll come from the front to get full range....
  18. What OEM speakers get full signal?

I've been down this road recently on the Bronco.... https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/high-end-stereo-build-thread.43828/ I'm using another Audio Control DSP amp in the Maverick. Does anyone know FOR SURE if the rear speakers receive full range signal from the head unit? Just figuring out...
