  1. Is anyone here NOT enjoying their 2.0?

Do you guys have the 4k tow as well or just the fx4 package? I’d like to pull a small pontoon from time to time. No need for pulling a camper as I have a super C that will tow the mav
  2. Falken Wild Peak AT Trail vs BFG Trail Terrain in 245/65/17

I have wildpeaks on my f150, I lost close to 4 mpg with them. They are quiet on the road though.
  3. Added a few accessories.

Just change it yourself. I wouldn’t let booster cars go to long without an oil change. Have you seen the blow by they’ve been getting in catch cans with these motors
  4. Buschur's 2.0 EcoBoost air intake dyno'd and ready. +26 whp and +17 ft lbs of torque

I don’t see how it would as you’re unlocking drive modes that are factory from ford. Although anything is possible. I had a warranty voided on one of my stock SRT4s because of a turbo timer… I also don’t see why so many are giving @Buschur such a hard time. He’s been dealing with and building...
  5. Mullinax Ford

I was contacted by them through text and I was entered in for a preorder supposedly. They were very responsive so hopefully that doesn’t change. They said they were just taking name/DL info and color and that the packages would come later.
  6. 2023 Maverick colors possibly revealed

Avalanche is a sharp color, I’ll have to decide between that and CG
  7. Anyone else had a visceral, BAD reaction to actually seeing one of the colors?

I’ve liked all the colors I’ve seen. Some more then others. I just wish they’d introduce a guard green type color for my23
  8. Will there realistically be any difference between 2022 and 2023 build quality?

Not a fan boy but I have owned 2 fords in my life and they’ve been as well built and reliable as the Hondas and Toyotas I’ve owned. The only brand I’ve owned that truly feels crappy is Chevy. I’ve owned one and will never again. The best build “feeling” was a few VW GTIs but those weren’t the...
  9. TuxMat Hybrid Floor Mats Prototypes Installed!

I’ve had weather tech’s and huskies, both were great products but I do prefer husky over weather tech. These seem interesting simply because of their appearance. I am not sure if it justifies their difference in price. I’ll just watch and wait for your reviews.
  10. 2.0L AWD Tow Package MPG

Do you regret the switch now? I will be selling my f150 to fund the Mav. I have no interest in the hybrid because I’d need the 4k tow which requires awd… the reason I went with the f150 was because we were expecting our second child and the interior space is amazing but now they’re both in...
  11. 2.0L AWD Tow Package MPG

That mileage is abysmal. My 5.0 in my 15 F150 gets 16.1 average right now. Here in Florida…man I want a maverick but not for 1 more mpg.
  12. Second thoughts

I’m going with an ecoboost motor because I know those have been proven in other fords already. That being said I’m sure it will be fine. Every first year vehicle has teething issues, some minor some not. Ford will right whatever it is. They have always been good to their customers.
  13. My Maverick XLT build inspired by Mach 1

Nicest looking maverick I’ve seen yet
  14. New Carbonized Gray XLT picked up / STAY TUNED FOR MODS

I have been torn between cactus and carbonized. Leaning more towards carbonized. Threads like this are a great help in seeing a colors potential. Great job man and thanks for sharing.
  15. Not completely happy with dealer installed hard trifold tonneau

My f150 has a leer trifold that has to be closed before the tailgate because it goes over the end to seal it. It leaks at one of the seems. I had a hard roll back tonneau on my old ranger. It leaked and was loud at speed. I’ve never experienced a single tonneau that didn’t leak except for my...
  16. Real World Fuel Economy: 25 MPG after 2" Level Lift & 245/65R17 Wildpeak Tire Install on 2.0 Maverick

On my 15’ f150 with a 5.0 dropped from 18.5 combined to being lucky to hit 16 hwy with wild peaks. I went up one size on factory rims. They are very quiet and smooth but they hit the mpgs hard. They look great but I won’t be putting them on my maverick.
  17. DELIVERED! Maverick Owner Review & Impressions of Cactus Gray XLT 2.0 EB, AWD, LUX, FX4, 4K TOW, 360

Thanks a lot for the replies. Can’t wait to get mine. 350-400 a month in gas is putting a hurting on my wallet.
  18. DELIVERED! Maverick Owner Review & Impressions of Cactus Gray XLT 2.0 EB, AWD, LUX, FX4, 4K TOW, 360

What about the radio is garbage, the speakers or the head unit? I don’t want a lariat just for sync 3 and an acoustic windshield. Are you using apple car play or android auto? also I notice you're running ATs. Did you notice a drop in MPGs? I have wild peaks on my 15’ F150 and I saw a HUGE...
  19. DELIVERED! Maverick Owner Review & Impressions of Cactus Gray XLT 2.0 EB, AWD, LUX, FX4, 4K TOW, 360

Still loving it? This is the exact build I’m looking to get in august when they open back up again.
