After not hearing anything from Ford since July I received this email tonight. I haven’t made any changes. Going to check with my dealer tomorrow.
Has anyone else received a similar email with subject: A change in your 2022 Maverick XLT order.
“Ford is stopping production at its Chicago Assembly plant, which builds Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator SUVs. Ford's Cuautitlan, Mexico assembly plant, which builds the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, is also being shut down this week.”

As bad as it may seem I don’t think dealers should be penalized. It’s a market driven system (supply and demand). Of course if person who ordered vehicle has contract that should be honored, but for resales no one is holding a gun to a buyer’s head. I kind of think each of us would like more for...
As @fordvideoguy often says your dealer likely didn’t enter your order correctly through the entire system and is just covering their behinds. I would ask to see all order info.
This was supposed to be a “big scheduling” week. Have you received a scheduling email today, if not already scheduled? I didn’t and my order date was July 8th.
No letter. Not one email since July 8th. My dealer says hybrid was ordered but I don’t think it’s a good way to do business.
Any way I can find out from Ford if my hybrid was actually pre-ordered?
