Our escapes not too bad.... My wife loves it . I like my sub in my 03 dodge minivan.
It'll be an unnessecsary up grade if I can't adjust. I'll be figuring out how to put it the back seat. I can see one of my kids having to hold it on long trips.
One of the dealers had a 3500 markup on our escape. When he explained to me what a market adjustment was. I was already heading towards the door. I cannot say enough bad things about that dealership.
If they're in it for the short money great. I don't have to buy it.
Amazon already has inserts and all different color trays for our 21 escape. If this truck sells like i think it will. We are going to have all kinds of options. Supply and demand.
(3500 for a topper though,come on man)
You'd think since it was a unibody yeah they could do that . But for the price point they need uniformity. I've seen other post describing the truck as a left over parts car from the others in the lineup. I'm ok with that.
I do think they misjudged the popularity of the hybrid. But I doubt a bait and switch. Ford's put alot into making the tranny's.
The future seems to be moving towards elect. They are on their way to dominating the elect truck market. F150 Lightning looks awesome. I Imagine a practical elect mav...
20/20 Kia Sportage is 23 and 30.
Still not bad for a small truck.
But that's one of the reasons I was waiting for the hybrid. If I wanted 25 and 29 I would just keep the car I was in and get a trailer.
My humble opinion is this mav, is not particularly groundbreaking.
Ford has made smaller trucks before.
Most of the tech looks to be from an escape or fusion.
And it appears to be just a unibody suv with a bed.
Don't get me wrong though i cant wait for mine.
Its the price and hybrid that got...
My dealer was up front.
I gave a $500 refundable deposit.
I expect to eventually get my Mav.
I paid msrp.
I don't have the time or patience to search out and formulate big plans to get or use a coupon.
I did not get mud flaps though. I fell for that one early.
