I think this example applies only to orders for dealer stock. Retail order are supposed to be allocated above regular dealer allocations. So how are retail orders allocated? Even the “Ford video guy” did not explain this.
If you change your order after 12/26/21, you will have to pay the new MSRP for your build. See this thread:

I have Lane Centering on my Honda CR-V. I regularly drive between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas on I-15. Land Centering CANNOT keep the vehicle within its lane on the I-15 through the Virgin River Gorge across the northwest corner of AZ. Rely on it there and you will soon be off the road and in...
Lariat has Sync3 only on the Lux package, and the Lux package also includes SiriusXM, so if you have the Lux package, you don’t need the 4dtech device; and if you don’t have the Lux package, the 4dtech package won’t work, since the base Lariat doesn’t have Sync3.
So I am still totally and completely confused about the role of dealer allocations in this process. In your video you state that retail orders verified thru ROVP are “above dealer allocations”. In the comment above, you state that you have 282 retail orders awaiting allocation to your...
Now that the OK to build for hybrids is in place, we customers have to look for other sources of delays in scheduling production. Your video from September is timely again.
I called Ford and the customer service representative said my build is awaiting a dealer allocation. So I suspect my...
You equate retail orders and stock orders in the above paragraph. Did you intend to do that? I thought retail and stock orders followed two different paths. I need a clarification of terms. Does “retail[=](stock order)”, as you state above?
Then if a retail order is different from a stock...
This video is totally confusing. In the first half Tim describes how customer orders verified thru the Retail Order Verification process are built above dealer allocations. In the second half he describes how dealer allocations may delay scheduling of your order. The two half’s are in...
There is a lot of misinformation in the owners manual. On page 410 it says there is a factory navigation system, but NO WHERE ELSE is mention made of factory nav. So I would like to know what is on the actual manufactured vehicle.
Can any owner of a Lariat Ecoboost with Lux package tell me if that package includes HD radio. All other Fords with the B&O speakers include HD radio, but the Maverick specs are silent about HD radio.
The parts you mentioned never appeared on the Ford accessories web site, whereas the bed liner and bed tray were on the site last month, but have now disappeared from where they were.
What happened to the drop-in bed liner as a dealer installed accessory on the accessories.ford.com website? It is no longer listed there. Are there not enough for both the XLR Lux package at the factory and the Ford dealerships now? And the bed tray liner is no longer listed. This is not used...
Thank you for that information. Guess I will listen to SiriusXM through Apple Car Play then.
I wonder what Ford was trying to accomplish by spending money to develop a less capable infotainment system than the one they already had for the base model Escape just for the Maverick. Maybe they...
And the loss of horsepower is of no concern because I will only call on extra horsepower when passing on a two-lane rural road, and on such a road I will be driving the turbo-charged CR-V.
The Maverick hybrid gives me the opportunity to have a dedicated City vehicle and Highway vehicle.
My other vehicle is a 2018 Honda CR-V. I am pretty confident that the CR-V with its 1.5 L turbo-charged engine will give better mileage when cruising at 75mph on the Interstate than the 2.5 L on...
When I sold my car in July, I put the cash in a six month CD to earn some interest before I have to pay the down payment on my Maverick. Banker advised me to stay flexible and put in savings account. I said I don’t think it will be delivered before six months. So I will be extremely upset if...
I don’t understand the economics of this. Once Sync 3 is developed, there would be zero marginal cost to add it to a vehicle. If fact, they probably had to spend money to develop Connected Touch, in the expectation that enough people would be disappointed in Connected Touch that they would...
According to the Maverick owners manual, only Sync 3 has the rear passenger alert system. What does Ford say about that? They seem to be saying that unless you buy the Lariat Lux trim, we don’t care if you accidentally leave your baby in the rear seat in a hot car. You didn’t pay enough for...
