I noticed the same thing but I believe it is the trucks anti colision system influencing the steering. I know it also does that when getting to close to the shoulder of the road.
Yes, do a search and you will get a link that will ask for your vin. Put in your vin then you can print it or save to your device. Anyway, thats what i did. Here is the Ford link

I don't like them. I made a deal with the dealer for him to install fog lights in the lower bumper like on other models or i don't buy and he agreed. I don't have them yet he ordered the parts will post a pix when installed..
YES!!!! All the above I hate bucket seats they restrain you from moving when on a long trip and like you mentioned they lock occupants away from one and other. I think bucket seats are a safety hazard.
The AWD will be fine in the winter. I just picked up a 25 Lariat with 4k tow package at the dealer four days ago myself. Very frugal on fuel so far the average is 43.2mpg. Where i live its all hills which i think helps not hinders the mpg because of regenerative braking.
Can't comment on that yet I've only owned one for what..four days. But i will say this i use quicken and record all purchases so a couple of months ago when i filled up the CMAX and it said 998 miles on that tank I did a double take, no way jose. I went through my log on quicken and sure enough...
Yep, the f150 is a great truck but for most of what i do i don't need that much truck so like you I zeroed in on the Maverick Lariat, always buy Lariats. Went in to get my superduty serviced and saw this teeny little Lariat even had a brake controller so i wrote a check and drove it home.
I have a PHEV and love it, it is a Ford CMAX ENERGI. When i only go short trips it never uses gas. Today I drove it 52 miles and the car says it got 47.6mpg. It only goes 21 miles on pure electric then charges when the gas engine is running or going down hill or when you brake. I often make a...
I lost the tranny in 93 when that od was new and i fortunately new i was likely to have an issue because our fleet vehicles had already had problems with the new tranny. With my 2007 super duty came from the factory with hook ups for anything. All I know the issue only came up when backing up...
My point being the Mav is designed to pull a trailer not push heavy loads of snow the same as with my examples. Ford didn't take into consideration the surge brakes used on boat trailers that can act like a pile of snow adding weight in a direction the vehicle was not engineered to handle...
you would think. What i think happens often is the writer just write synthetic forgetting to write full and the blend gets used.....just my hypothesis.
But that's no guarantee they will use that spec just like on my service four days ago. The writers writes synthetic and they will use the blend if they write Full synthetic then you will get the proper oil. I've been using full syn since 1976 and have fought this battle with many dealers over...
What is wrong with the whole idea is it appears the idea was to plow with the truck going in reverse and this is the worst thing you can do. Transmissions are not designed to push heavy loads in reverse they will break. Happened to me twice. Once trying to move a rock in reverse and another time...
I've fought this battle often also. Look at the part number of the oil used and look it up. Sometimes its not easy to do because Ford has a different part number for the bulk synthetic than in the smaller container. Yes it can be an issue and just four days ago i took my truck in for service and...
