Damn - I would have taken that offer too. My experience wasn't really negative, but it wasn't positive either. The warrantee offers they trotted out seemed pretty weak compared to 150k/10 for $2500. Good on you!
I'm really tempted to head up there (from the Bay Area in California). I honestly don't do any Overlanding (yet???) but I do love looking at all that gear.
CO BAP AWD '23 :)
Fellow CO owner here and I LOVE what you've done with the place :)
I'm only just starting, and I promise I won't copy _too_ many of your ideas (though I think swapping the dealer license plate frame for a Tonka replacement is going to happen).
Seriously, this thread is wonderful, thank you for...
First few times parking I came way too close to putting the front passenger side into the car next to me while pulling in. My last car was an Element, and that thing was a bit narrower and shorter and had an amazing turn radius.
Of course it will all even out over time as I get used to the new...
I really like the idea of having the footwell lights tied in to the bed overhead like that. How difficult was it to wire up? Did you take any pictures of that process?
Joining the club! My CO Ecoboost is on a train car somewhere, on its way here.
Can't wait!
Still undecided on tailgate letter color. I never thought I'd like the black w/red outline, but it looks good in @Captain Blackheart 's photos up there... :)
EDIT: I take it back, the sticker has returned.
Truck is built, and I could view the window sticker last night; however, now that I've received the "Your truck is built" email from Ford, my window sticker seems to have disappeared.
Is that to be expected? A website glitch? Or "uh oh" time...
