I really liked my husky mats that were in my Mazda and my wife's Subaru. But for the Maverick I went with Tuxmats and I really like them so far, we'll see how easy they are to clean once winter is over!
It's like my trucks twin! But you're doing truck things with it already! I also felt the need to throw new wheels on it (no good pics yet, I've been waiting until after I wash it).
Congrats on your truck!
I also have a seat cover that has the ties/straps that go under to secure it, but even with a lot of effort, the driver side doesn't seem to lock properly
Last night on my commute home I finally got 35mpg lol. I put it in eco, initially had the temp set at 80 but dropped it to 72 once it was warming up, and followed the speed limit a little closer than usual lol. It was also mid 20sF rather than single digits or negative temps outside so that also...
I've been trying to drive normally - but with more consciousness towards fuel economy overall.
The gas engine is on a lot because it's been very cold,so that's definitely a factor. However I feel like it shouldn't be this difficult to even hit 30mpg on my commute given the engine style, hybrid...
What kind of speeds have you been driving at? My commute has about 3 miles of city driving ~ 45mph then about 11 miles on the highway 60-75mph and I've been seeing around 26mpg after each trip to and from work. I'm REALLY hoping the mileage shoots up after it's broken in cuz it's kinda crazy how...
Interesting, I've been able to watch it on the site after uploading just fine, but I can try to mess with it later, I may remove the seat cover on the bench and see if that helps at all (I hadn't lifted the rear seat before installing them)
Took a quick video showing that it locks in the up position, then I basically let it fall under its own weight. Then, I reached under the seat cushion, past the release strap, gave a couple of low effort wiggles, and the bench came right back up and locked in place again in the upward position...
Thank you, mine requires just the slightest effort and it'll come up.
Anything to note about the rubber bumpers on the front of the bench? Do they sit fully inside the notches? If so, I think that could be my issue and 5 minutes of adjusting may be all I need
Hi everyone, sorry for what might be a very dumb question, but I've searched the forum and Google, and can't quite find an answer specific to the Maverick.
Does the rear seat bottom (bench portion) lock in the down position? It locks in the raised position fine, and the pull tabs bring it back...
I filled up yesterday with top tier 87 octane to see if it was partially bad gas too.
I only put about 200 miles on in the first week and it's been below freezing the entire time. As odd as it sounds, I'm glad other 25 hybrid owners are having the same experience.
I'm excited for break in to...
I was getting a bit worried since I've only had my hybrid for a week, but haven't seen better than 28mpg yet. It's been below freezing the whole time,so I'm assuming that's the main reason
I appreciate it, I never lifted the rear seat before putting the seat covers on, so I'm curious if that's the reason it's being weird, I'll have some time this week to check it out more!
I've been enjoying mine so far! The gas mileage for me has been less than ideal in my first week of hybrid ownership and I'm chocking that up to very cold temperatures (single digits, and some negatives on my commute to work in the morning) and the break in period. Averaging 27mpg on the first...
I'm excited to share the journey with you guys!
I'm trying to not go overboard with mods like I did on my last car (part of the reason I got a hybrid 😂). I did install a set of Rough Country seat covers and Tuxmats front and rear to try and keep all the upholstery as nice as possible for a long...
It is very nice! Very responsive as well which I love, and wireless Android Auto is a sweet feature!
The audio system is much better than expected, I haven't messed with the eq yet to dial it in.
It's great being in a quiet and smooth vehicle compared to my modded 2010 Mazda 3
