Actually they did away with the velocity blue because it was end of production. They have been using it on other vehicles for going on 5 years. I had velocity blue on my 2021 F-150 Hybrid.

You paid extra to get a full size spare instead of a doughnut, The tire is a full size spare just not the same tire. they went with a cheaper tire as the spare is hardly ever used. Even on the lariat the full size spare is not the same tire as is on the truck
