Being from a dealership once, they are 100% responsible to take care of any and all damages while the truck was in their possession. Furthermore, your insurance may not even cover this due an unlisted driver on your policy was driving. Surely they will try to bully you and scare you into...
Typically, the manufacturer of your bedliner material recommends using the same product as was laid down on your bed. If you check into that, they'll have a touch up procedure in place. You're certainly not the first Or the last to do this.
If you do not have an FX4 , or Tremor, there is no place for a tow hook. The factory hook uses 2 bolts to the front of the unibody frame and then the 3rd is this long monstrosity that passes through that same portion of the frame to a threaded hole that doesn't exist on non fx4 or tremor. Kinda...
I also had both my front cv axles replaced under warranty. I have the rough country lift and 245/70/17 bfg's. First one just started slinging grease everywhere, due to what appeared to be road debris damage. The 2nd, drivers side, was replaced due to the same issue as mentioned in this thread...
I recently did the change in Forscan and I'm loving it. Worked flawlessly! To anyone who is asking about if the AS/S is still usable after this modification in Forscan, this fix is NOT for you. It does Semi- permanently turn off the function. But you CAN change it back if needed or wanted.

Over all I dont think that it's a fair assumption that all or most Mavericks will have alot of issues. I also have an early production XL EB. I currently have 44k on it and I have no issues. In fact the only issue I've had was a faulty cv boot, which is the truck's or Ford's fault. Of course...
To my knowledge, unless you have an Fx4 , you will not be able to add and use the tow hooks. There is a super long bolt that passes through to the frame end, which gives you most of the strength. The 2 small bolts on the bottom are still able to be used but I wouldn't pull on them. So if you...
I bought that exact item. Installed it and instantly became more of a pita than plugging in my phone each and every time to use AA . I quickly returned it. Although I did see many people had good luck with it.
So, overall they've been great. Water, snow, a little mud, sand.... I'm very happy. Now, as the miles add up they get a little louder still perform well but I do start to notice a little hydroplaning in the same conditions that there wasn't any for the last 35k miles. Hope that answered your...
