Today I visited my dealership and told them that I am waiting for build 2 orders. The trailer tools matter a lot to me.

I hadn't looked hard at the Larriat, however, this has given me a bit to consider. I have written my local dealer to get an estimate from them.

I don't like them. Any time you want to use the bed you have to deal with the cover. I am more likely to add a Softopper (a folding shell). That is part of the reason I am considering not getting anything in the bed.

At 57, this is the first time I have seen a new car that I want to buy. It is replacing my 07 Toyota FJ. I am looking at a 2025 model year. I am leaning toward build 1. I plan to keep this for quite a few years as I am looking forward to retirement and think I will appreciate the little luxury...
