I didn't want to wait possibly until next year for my XLT lux hybrid , when I got the chance for a xl eco I jumped on it. Figured it gave me a reason to build a camping/overlanding rig which I've been wanting to do for several years now
Hopefully its the same for me, im only at 500 miles and was dissapointed at 22mpg i got on the first tank, hopefully it improves with the next few fill ups
In the next couple months I'll end up cutting and modifying both some stock f150 fog light housing and plastic weld the recess into the stock Maverick block off. Hopefully it's as straight forward as I'm hoping

Over the past week I've noticed my dash camera shuts off immediately after shutting the ignition off and opening the door, my rear bed power the same. Remote start didnt want to work this morning which I thought was strange. And last was the auto start stop hasn't worked in a couple weeks...
Today I finished up the rack, total material cost was just over $200 for 3 8ft 1x2 tubing and the 3/16 flat bar, ended up abandoning the aluminum roof rack for cost savings and strength. I ended up cutting about 3-4 inches off the original towers as I wasn't a fan of how high the whole thing...
They are just saying to touch it up to avoid needing to paint it. such a small chip in the location it is should be an easy blend without needing to paint any adjacent panels. it doesn't need to be stripped. Get them to fix it properly
