  1. Add me to the list of totaled Mavericks :( Rear ended

I will definitely consider buying one of those for my next Mav!
  2. Add me to the list of totaled Mavericks :( Rear ended

I spoke with the collision company. They said the damage was more severe because I wasn’t hit directly from behind, but rather on the back corner. If I were hit directly from behind, the trailer hitch would’ve received the impact and it’s designed to crumple without affecting the unibody frame...
  3. Add me to the list of totaled Mavericks :( Rear ended

It’s because the main frame gets damaged on the unibody. It’s not just the Maverick. Actually if anything, the Maverick is the best truck to have when it does get totalled since the actual cash value (or fair market value) is so high. This winds up giving you a higher % of the vehicle’s brand...
  4. Add me to the list of totaled Mavericks :( Rear ended

I also suspect the same thing. Every accident seems to be total loss these days. On the whole, it seems to benefit the insurance companies. I bet you they just fix up the ā€œsevereā€ damage and it winds up costing them less than the damage repair estimate, then they sell the truck for profit either...
  5. Add me to the list of totaled Mavericks :( Rear ended

He couldn’t even drive away from the accident scene because his truck had too much front end damage. It didn’t LOOK like it. The impact was only about 10-12 mph. But there must have been unseen damage inside. Meanwhile me and my Mav were able to drive home no problem.
  6. Add me to the list of totaled Mavericks :( Rear ended

Hasn’t even been a year. I bought a custom 2025 XL from the factory last January. If you want to see my introductory post, read this: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/pics-review-of-my-ā€˜25-maverick-xl-hybrid-velocity-blue.60475/ Well, it’s now totalled. I got rear-ended while...

    Yup! It’s 1.21 gigawatts āš”ļø āš”ļø
  9. over 80 mpg???

Last week my Maverick travelled to the end of the Milky Way galaxy and back on 1/8 tank of gas.
  10. Terrible gas mileage!

I don’t claim to be an expert, but in my experience these are the factors which affect mpg (in order from most significant to least significant): 1) city versus highway time — the people you see getting ridiculous mpg like 50+ are all driving mostly city, whereas the people getting lower 30s...
  11. New software update for 2025 Mavs?

Update completed. Basically it says it improved the functionality of the powertrain. Very non specific. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  12. New software update for 2025 Mavs?

At 1am tonight the software will upgrade on my 2025 XL. Does anyone know what this includes?
  13. Is the Mav the best vehicle and value you have ever owned - hybrid only responses.

Yes. I have only a few very minor complaints, but overwhelmingly it’s the best automobile I’ve ever owned.
  14. 600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

I would reach 600 miles per tank if it weren’t for the fact that more than half my miles are at speeds higher than 80 mph. So no. No 600 mile club for me.
  15. First Oil Change at 10,000 Miles w/ Photo

To me it seems just…wrong…to have the luxury of changing oil every 10k miles. But that’s what the manual says. I did go with full synthetic. I figure with such an infrequent interval, who cares if it’s expensive. I also rotated the tires for first time. I used to do it every 5k. But some...
  16. New tires: 225/65/17 BFGoodrich Trail Terrain

Wow. Those are the ONLY other 17 inch wheels other than the ones I bought that I would consider. Really suits the truck. Where did you get them?
