  1. Open For Comments on NO ISSUE Mavericks

I have a '24 XLT, built in mid April that has been without flaws after over 9,000 miles. The only problem I have with it is one I caused myself by less than careful panel re-installation when replacing one of the rear speakers. It's rattling and really interfering with one of my new favorite...
  2. A Hard cover recommendation - that really folds well to open up all the space when not used

It does of course block the back window when up, but the stand offs and brackets work well. I installed it myself and was quite careful while doing so to make sure it aligned well etc. I also used a tailgate gasket, which is also available from them. Mine stays pretty dry. The few times I've...

  6. Sealing water out of bed

This might look familiar…. Getting this version solves the removal problem when you want to use the full length of the bed. https://shop.agricover.com/product/lomaxstance?srsltid=AfmBOoodFfDOdJeW4hZkbNfxPFRYk-aVL2FWmVpfmRTzefwXieJL_10T

I bet! Flint fractures to fairly sharp edges.
  8. Installed new Tuxmat floor mats and other interior mods.

https://www.tuxmat.com/products/8700-ford-maverick-hybrid-custom-mat?year=2025 The OP hasn't used the nicely designed retainers that hold the edges of the mats in place better. They are a bit of a challenge to install, but well worth the trouble!
  9. POLL - Hybrid Transmission Grinding/Lurching

I didn't respond to the poll as it doesn't have an option for what I experience, which is just some mild lurching, probably only when cold, but I've not paid attention to that. I have no grinding whatsoever.
  10. Recommended floor mats?

I bought Tuxmats after having them in a Subaru for 4 years. They fit well, are easy to clean and I have no regrets.
  11. Windshield wipers are just...too........darn...........slow.

I was simply responding to your statement there there was “No way…” I put mine on high this afternoon out of curiosity. Though I didn’t use a stop watch and take their pulse, they were probably close to what you say the Equinox does, and certainly not as slow as 1 per second.
  12. Windshield wipers are just...too........darn...........slow.

There IS a way. I often drive in heavy rain without wipers on at all. RainX applied directly to the windshield is very effective.
  13. Remote start from phone?

    Of course. I was parked in a park… 🙂
  14. Remote start from phone?

Mine worked fine last night when it was close to zero.
  15. Attaching hood gasket after AVS Bugdeflector II install

I had no problem with mine and certainly didn’t have to enlarge any holes. I did read that many had fit challenges with earlier ones.I purchased mine in June’24
  16. 2025 Ford Maverick with Bronco Sport wheels

Indeed! One could buy a lot of Sharpies for the difference.
  17. OEM tires

Yup, they’re not all the same. The gravel roads in the next country to the west of me are much kinder to tires. The crushed stone I drive on and use to maintain my road is not so nice, especially when fresh, or freshly graded, or when the county puts fresh stuff down on a frozen road to...
  18. Why do we have brake maintenance mode.

This 68 year old fart is happy to adapt. I find the dial to be easy and convenient to use. I just had to find somewhere else to hang my trash bag.

  20. Weather stripping for tailgate and hard trifold tonneau cover

Yup, it’s a good idea if you want to minimize water getting into the bed.
