Confirmed from me as well. I just went in and the dealer looked into the system, saw it as a 2023 and said it is currently locked. Had me look over what I wanted to change and said he would send a confirmation email that I could sign agreeing to the changes and I won't need to stop back in. He...
Hopefully we can get confirmation quickly whenever changes are possible. I sent an email to my dealership last night indicating that my order should be in the system as a 23.
The whole reaction from dealerships reminds me of what happens when you walk into the doctor and say "I Googled my symptoms and..."
They just don't like that very much lol
I am in the same boat and fortunately my dealership did confirm there are no duplicate orders in their system that would...
Still trying to decide who Ford will screw... me again week after week as all these hybrids get queued in front of me causing me months of waiting after a full year of waiting or the people they've scheduled that they'll push back after they schedule the 6900 leftover hybrids like mine. I fully...
This sums up so much of all of us I feel like. I have never felt more like I was training monkeys when talking to my dealers. I do genuinely feel bad for them but also just want to pound my head against the wall. I was VERY lucky in that the "new vehicle manager" (although old and near...
Tim indicated this may not be possible without potentially screwing something up... Would it really not be possible to adjust trim packages on a '22 w/VIN->'23 rollover? '22 XL did not have cruise control but '23 DOES have cruise control. We ordered an XLT hybrid with no other options and want...
I know everyone is hard on dealerships but I do feel bad for the communication they have been given. My dealership says they get people calling all the time completely pissed asking where their Maverick is. They don't follow Facebook/forums. All they know is that it has been a LONG time without...
Sooooo regular '22 rollovers (without a VIN/build date) could start a full new '23 order but I am not supposed to change trim packages? I better be able to switch from XLT to XL since I only wanted the XLT in '22 because of the cruise control option...
They specifically said over and over we would be prioritized. It just makes you laugh! I am happy to see people getting their trucks soon... I just wish I was one of them. I had TEN BUILD DATES and the tenth pushed me into a 2023 model. If it wasn't for the fact that these new customers had VIN...
Ordered 11/1/22 XLT hybrid no options, build date initially was September 6. 10 build dates later, 12/19. Hoping to downgrade to an XL since we only got the XLT for the cruise control.
Has there been any tracking to show roughly how many hybrids per month Ford has been able to kick out? Just curious if we are a 22 confirmed VIN hybrid pushed to 23 (6900 or so of us according to sources) how long we might wait once production begins (provided we actually DO end up at the front...
As long as I can switch from XLT to XL and retain the current private offer, it will cover the loss in value of our car between now and when we get a 2023... it's the interest rates that will really sadden me.
In the year 2022 how hard can it really be for there to be a "window of opportunity" (of a week or so) for 22 vins being turned into 23s where you can log in, see your build, make some changes, see the price increase/price change, click submit and have that information go to ford/you/your dealer...
We were on our 9th build date with 11/21. Ford chat says 12/19 now. Went from 9/6->12/19 aka 2023. Just a sad ride we've been on watching our current car rack up miles/lose value the whole time as the market changes. Also losing rate lock will be super sad. I only hope I will be able to switch...
