One dealer says they can't get a Maverick for test drives, only for customer orders. Therefore, hit an ordered truck with a surprise mark-up and the customer cancels, giving the dealer a truck to play with.

So, what is Ford doing selling vehicles that have not been EPA approved? Knowing that it is a requirement that EPA approves a vehicle, that should have been done long ago.

Did that. They couldn't care less. If people who ordered before me have not been contacted, matters are even worse than they seem.

As a marketing professor, I would say you are wrong. A company owes updates and explanations to it's customers. Or they will lose customers

My dealer says they have no idea when Hybrids will be made. They have gotten some Ecoboost delivered, but no hybrid, including mine, scheduled, and Ford ain't talking. Doesn't sound good. Maybe by 2030?

Same here. Dealer said no bed cover from Ford, so no problem. They are half of Ford's price on the aftermarket already. Assuming, of course, that I ever get the truck. Zero communication from the dealer or Ford. Ford's failure to communicate is not a good omen.
