I'm 6'3" as well but also ordered the sunroof with my truck. I'm in the same boat waiting for a build date as you and the vehicle I test drive did not have the option on it. I currently drive a jeep renegade (another compact vehicle) with the removable roof panels and I have my seat up pretty...
I'm guessing it's more of a material shortage than manpower. I work in the motorhome production industry and we're having so many issues getting the parts we need to build units. Production and material availability hasn't recovered from the pandemic yet.
You can get a towing hitch without the towing package. Are you sure you ordered the "towing package"? Because as other's have said, that isn't available on the Hybrid. It sounds like both you and your dealer were not on the same page with any of this.
All I'm asking for is the number your sticker says dude. I'm not doing any arguing about pushing a truck past it's limit. I'm impressed with it and genuinely curious how much over you pushed it with it working completely fine.
I'm curious what your sticker says though. If you thought the round number was specific to your truck then you thought you only went 150lbs over payload when in actuality it could have been 400lbs+ over what is recommended. I'm just curious to see how strong the little trucks really are over...
I have that concern on the Lariat as well. I'd love to see proof that these work on the Lariat the same way that they do on all these XLT's there's photos of
It's annoying to me because in my Renegade I replaced the grab handle with a sunglasses compartment accessory. I ordered a sunroof so I'm losing my sunglasses holder so I was hoping to add one in my Maverick.
This forum is about knowledge. All that was asked in this thread is how are you able to turn the chime off. Ford made it possible to do so, therefore people are out there who would like to do it. Nobody has argued safety of wearing a seatbelt. You've made your speech about how seatbelts kept you...
To me the main benefits would have been the added engine cooling and heavy duty radiator. I still didn't opt for it though, I didn't want to lose sport or eco mode and I don't intend to do any off-roading with it.
First off, these dampers are $50, not $10. Second, this is an accessory sold on Ford's website. Ford put their stamp on this as being compatible with the Maverick. It's supposed to work flawlessly and it doesn't. If you don't understand why this is an issue then this thread was not meant for you.
Honda Pilot has 3 rows and is 3" shorter in length than the Maverick. Maverick is only considered compact because it is a truck, it's actually not small compared to modern SUV's. a compact SUV with a 3rd row would be nearly impossible to pull off.
I don't have a direct answer to either of those questions. I can't imagine the weight impact is too high from watching the spray on install video. I may have to ask my salesman when I pick up my Maverick about the warranty. I plan on keeping my truck for 10+ years and I live in Indiana so I plan...
I reached out to my local Ziebart and got a quote for adding a sound deadener undercoat to the truck. They told me $149, which seems very reasonable to me to limit road noise and get some added rust protection as well.
