Did not get an email, but the tracker updated yesterday pushing my estimated delivery date again. Have gone from 11/18 to 11/25 to 12/2 now. I'm like first stop over the Mexico border....so not sure what is holding them up now.

Must be true....and apparently also when they are going to change your Scheduled Delivery estimate. 😕 No longer a 19 November to 25 November 2021. Now the Ford tracker says 12/02/2021: I've been keeping all of my sticker changes also. Oh well, at least it's still slowly getting here. ⏰📆

I'd say protection when you are using the multi-position or tailgate extender hauling items. Electric lock would only work when fully closed.

Mine was built same timeframe (blend 10/21 built 10/29) and has the LUX package. It has been shipped and shows "In Transit" since 11/11 with an expected arrival of 11/19-11/25 according to the "Your Vehicle Is On Its Way" email. Hopefully not with a drop-in liner!!

Yeah, I like this and is quickly becoming my top idea also. Is the plastic textured or smooth inside the cubby? Wondering if it would be smooth enough for a suction mount with a flexible arm. Cable routing would definitely become a side project for sure.

That's what I'm going to do as well. After seeing what it took to get those tow hooks out, I think it's a lot less pain to just do the prep & tape work. Crazy how they mounted those hooks, but I guess makes sense with the unibody.

Personally, I"m going with a Lime Green color (not quite fluorescent) but I'm also replacing my stock FX4 Decal with one like in my profile pic and adding a green trimmed shackle on the tow hitch. It is proving to be harder to find than I thought. Plastidip makes a Blaze Green and a Sublime...

Or was not at least an optional tire on same model....ie 235/65R17 vice 225/65R17. They'd have a hard time saying the same tire that was also spec'd on the vehicle caused it to fail. Now, I'm a little more worried about the "cell phone" mod voiding my warranty!! 😆

Just worked out a deal today with my dealer to install the Toyo AT3 235's before I take delivery. Luckily the 225's are an exact fit for my wife's RAV4, so will probably get the Pirellis as there'll be no (on purpose) off-roading there. Yeah, I was already thinking where I'm gonna fit them in...

Those look great! Will likely be going with those of I can't get a set of Wildpeaks from the dealer (which I doubt). The baby Pirellis gotta go, definitely not an FX4 tire.

That may be a dealer way of saying they have to do paperwork to change it from a retail to stock order before they sell it to someone else. If you got your confirmation email from Ford with your name on it I wouldn't worry, you are in. Ford emails don't always work....I got a confirmation email...

I'm in that club too....love the FX4 wheels, but disappointed they put those tires on there. Those have to go but the wheels stay!
