NO, it doesn't beep. Even if you have the turn signal on and have a car in your blind spot, it won't. Just the little light flashes on the side mirror.

Yes like the Mazda. I had a CX-5 and if you had your turn signal on and if there was a car in your blind spot it sounds the alert. It was very helpful. Regardless of how great a driver you are, it's good to have. Human error is inevitable.

Is there a way to enable chime / beep with blind spot monitoring system? Definitely going to be useful hearing the beep and not just the little light on the side mirror.
