Good for you man, for anyone under 65, we know what AMD is. Cool resume.
I guess reading comprehension wasn't a job requirement of your flex's there, because my post literally says
I am not a certified tech, so I will defer to the guy that has a channel dedicated to sharing his expertise.
Not going to fix it when mines arrives either, I will wait on Ford. I carry a jump pack, minor inconvenience at best.
You probably already did if you weren't calling / chatting weekly for updates. I think my production week moved 4 times before I got a day, (then it actually moved back days, went from Saturday, to Friday, to Monday)
This man is underpaid.
Can Ford issue a temporary fix service bulletin in his honor " Replace the end, then crimp the piss outta it"?
What stellar service that dealers clients get on service.
My first order is with a dealership that there is no way I get a '22. No email from Ford, not able to verify my order or sales code, nothing. They have called me once since my buddy who was my salesman quit, just so the new guy could talk to me. No way they adjust priorities for old orders, the...
That is a disgusting price for LEDS. Maybe if they tied into a pre-existing OEM color changing system like some vehicles have, but no way that is worth that kinda coin.
I guess to each their own, I can't imagine buying that, margins must be insane.
about a 1/3 of the price, same amount of...
Checked with chat today, and moved up from a build day of the 23rd.
Your current order status is "In Order Processing" and has been scheduled to day of 2022-09-20.
Just checked in:
In Order Processing - Scheduled for Sep 23, 2022
- ETA: Sep 17, 2022 - Sep 23, 2022.
Status last updated on Aug 22, 2022
This remains consistent with my last few checks, saying the week of September 19th, and the last chat that said the day of the 23rd.
I hope whoever dinged the seatbelt stuff steps on a lego every day for the rest of their life.
For F's sake, on the XL and XLT minus FX4, the seat belt stuff is BEYOND obnoxious.
Unbelievable the nanny level of this crap.
Trading or selling. Depends on dealer offer. I was lucky and got this when my car was just begging for an expensive repair to pop up. Excited too, my city MPG is 15-20 and I can't wait to double that, on top of the jump from XL to Lariat Lux.
Don't care as much about being able to haul bigger stuff, as it is cool to have more open air, like a Bronco or Jeep. I guess we will see if it ever materializes.
Typically they give a build week. I was given a day as well, Sept 23rd, and prior to that was told the week of the 19th, however I am not putting too much weight on it.
Patient other than the fact my XL is loosing value as the used market cools, so that sucks.
I get that is for the lols, but a professional job is much different than a DIY wax/hybrid solution.
You can DIY a true ceramic, but if your prep isn't 100% you are stuck with imperfections.
I use the Meguiars spray ceramic on my current XL, will probably shell out for a pro to do my Hybrid...
I wonder if the push backs are because Ford was waiting on a revised harness that causes issues with the dead battery. I can’t remember if it was someone on here or on Reddit that works in a service department and has been keeping their eye out for a new part number. Kinda silly they’re having...
It is a bit of a drive, but Raul at Sewell in Odessa is great! I got a passed on order at MSRP, I can imagine ordering with them would be a great process. I drove 8 hours out and back to get my XL and worth every mile of the trip.
