From what I understand the deposit varies by state. In CA I put $100 on my first order and they didnāt require a deposit on the second order. š¤·š¾āāļø
Iāve had one screen freeze and two reboots. The screen freeze was right after my 4K controller recall and upgrade; not sure it was related but no further issuesā¦.. so far.
In 2002 to 2006 I worked for a large city here in SoCal and we drove Dodge Neons, total POSs. Apparently a long gone inspector had been filling up the truck bed with job materials and other stuff he should not have been carrying.
My Neon was totaled in an accident and the replacement was a...
I have to say, I appreciate ALL the input, especially the "you are a dumbass for putting a lift kit on in the first place!"
Yep, a big learning experience. First new truck since '88. Just like the look mostly of a short lift vs. the stock look. Thought it was a relatively simple process...
Thatās exactly the question weāve already posed. For now Iām willing to have the kit removed and see how this all plays out. If this is a Ford issue I definitely donāt want to be constantly denied warranty work while my dealer or any other dealer continue to deny warranty coverage.
Again, two more cents worthā¦.
Letās say that a log came rolling into the street. Yeah, itās not supposed to be there, etc. But because itās not supposed to be there, do you barrel forward citing your ā right of way ā?
Thereās an obstacle in the road, a moving, idiotic one at that, but one...
Yeah, itās not unusual for a dealership to offer customization for vehicles so they can bundle all the costs into one auto loan. Some dealers have entire in-house shops; some outsource or sub out the work.
I have been getting the 22 to 25. Last week I my cousin drive my Maverick behind me bringing another car home and he got 34 MPG, a record for the vehicle. Of course, that was downhill with a 20 MPH tailwind plus I made him follow me at about 65 MPH.
The BBB has no regulatory enforcement ability. Its basically a clearinghouse for complaints.
If your state regulates automotive repair shops, then that is the agency to make your complaints to.
James,
I think you figured out in two seconds what I have taken a couple months to figure out.
The sales experience? GREAT! MSRP, no pressure, no add-ons etc.
Service?? The exact opposite. I cringe every time I go in. I seem to have some kind of issue when I go in for service. This latest...
Hi Rob,
Thanks for your reply.
Were the leaking axle complaints on the Maverick or other Ford vehicles? The BAR guy is telling me essentially the same thing you are so you obviously have experience with the situation.
I also wonder if anyone who has lifted a Bronco Sport has had the same...
Tom, thank you for your reply and suggestions.
Unfortunately the dealer service "adviser" is telling me that the axle is replaced as a unit, not the boot alone.
Like I said, I am lucky in that I am covered for the repairs and they are underway as we speak.
I'm not touching anything myself...
