  1. LMAO @ "FX POOR" 🤣

Just saw the name "FX POOR" on another post and LMAO. Isn't it the truth??? Since I got my truck, I just keep adding more things to it, i.e. the lift, tires, tint, seat covers, etc. Now I am shopping skid plates, dash cams, radar detectors and converting the tailgate to keyless. At this...
  2. Technically have two Mavericks tied up but should I let one go

I ordered a second Maverick, completely different from my XL. The second Mav is a Hybrid XLT with Lux package and a number of other upgrades. I thought about selling one but I think rather sell one of my cars and keep the Hybrid. Whether you keep or sell the second Mav, you cant lose. If you...
  3. Installed: 4WP lift kit (1" front / .75" rear) and Toyo Open Country AT tires (245/70r17)

If I had the patience to deal with a company with such lousy customer service, I might have. His attitude was so bad that I probably wont return to any 4WP store anywhere. Contrast that with my visit to Off-Road Warehouse, even after my install, and the guy that I spoke with practically ran...
  4. Just picked mine up from getting a lift kit installed.... what's up with my rear wheel?

That's basically what my installer did. He ordered a special kit from RC. I guess he deals with them quite a bit and was able to assemble my kit. His concern in seeing photos of other installs was that even with the supposed leveling and lift of their standard packages, there was still a front...
  5. Installed: 4WP lift kit (1" front / .75" rear) and Toyo Open Country AT tires (245/70r17)

The 4WP store in Las Vegas told me straight out “ we don’t carry ANYTHING for Mavericks” 🙄
  6. Just picked mine up from getting a lift kit installed.... what's up with my rear wheel?

Its a 2 inch Rough Country front end lift/level. It is slightly higher in the front, I have been told that the front needs to settle after a lift install. I have a photo of it right after and its much higher. Right now the front wheel well is 34 inches high and the rear is 33 inches. Here is a...
  7. Just picked mine up from getting a lift kit installed.... what's up with my rear wheel?

Just saw this on the fordvideoguy YouTube channel He says that this is typical with a lift. The truck that Long Macarthur lifted is showing the same offset in the rear wheel well. The lift is featured early in the video, the explanation comes at about the 49 minute mark.
  8. Just picked mine up from getting a lift kit installed.... what's up with my rear wheel?

I only did a front end level do I can’t say for sure but it does look off. An alignment was part of my complete level/lift, tires and wheels installation. I’ll include a side view of my truck for your reference, but again, the only change to the rear was the wheels and tires.
  9. Real World Fuel Economy: 25 MPG after 2" Level Lift & 245/65R17 Wildpeak Tire Install on 2.0 Maverick

Most trucks are built with a “nose-down” rake with the front end slightly lower than the rear. A leveling kit brings the front up for different look as well as increasing clearance. A lift will typically raise both the front and back. Thank you for the compliment! I keep getting stopped and...
  10. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Went out for a casual 16 mile drive through Joshua Tree National Park; ended up doing some rock crawling 😮
  11. DEALER CANCELS MY ORDER

There is a supply issue with the Snug Top caps. You would have been better off simply removing that from the truck order as it would only delay production. I ran into the same issue on my second order and was told just to get it later. I would not cancel my truck order over not being able to...
  12. Real World Fuel Economy: 25 MPG after 2" Level Lift & 245/65R17 Wildpeak Tire Install on 2.0 Maverick

I am not trying to pass off anything as a non-loss; I have never gotten the 29 MPG as the truck is rated, I have been getting 25 MPG and only once or twice have I exceeded that (31 MPG over 180 miles) so the mileage with the new tires is not a big change in MY case. Trust me, I do not like ANY...
  13. Real World Fuel Economy: 25 MPG after 2" Level Lift & 245/65R17 Wildpeak Tire Install on 2.0 Maverick

I think that Rough Country anticipates 3 to 4 hours for the front and back lifts, so I would assume 1.5 to 2 hours for a front end lift/level. It will probably vary depending on your local labor rate. I would say 2 hours at $100 per hour is a reasonable estimate.
  14. Real World Fuel Economy: 25 MPG after 2" Level Lift & 245/65R17 Wildpeak Tire Install on 2.0 Maverick

The whole job was $1600 installed with just under $800 for the tires and $189 for the lift kit. The ~$600 balance was for the 4 Bronco Sport wheels, installation and alignment.
  15. Real World Fuel Economy: 25 MPG after 2" Level Lift & 245/65R17 Wildpeak Tire Install on 2.0 Maverick

I’ve been told that after a lift that there can be some “settling”, not just by my installer but by another 4X shop/ installer. I’m taking the truck off road this weekend to see what happens. My installer has offered to add a 1” lift at the rear if needed. My installer thought the stock 2”Rough...
  16. Real World Fuel Economy: 25 MPG after 2" Level Lift & 245/65R17 Wildpeak Tire Install on 2.0 Maverick

Just got my 2 inch Rough Country front lift/level with 245/65R17 Falken Wildpeak Tires on Bronco Sport wheels. Drove So Cal to Vegas, hit a lot of wind and my mileage was about 22 MPG. Immediately after I drove from Vegas to Phoenix/Scottsdale, a 288 mile trip. Trip meter read 25.3 MPG; I...
  17. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

I got up washed my Maverick then took it in for a front end level and new tires😁 There was a Santa Cruz there getting some beefier tires too.
  18. 31 MPG in 2.0L XL AWD 4K Tow

It’s 75 along that stretch. I usually drive at 5 to 10 mph over the posted limit, but by no means a lead foot. I tend to feather the pedal, it’s an old hypermiling habit from my Prius C days.
  19. How long was your Maverick "in production"?

Order date: July 26 Scheduled date notification: October 14, stating a w/o December 6 build date Notification of change in build week: 11/10, stating a build date change to the week of 12/13. No email but the truck went into production the week of 12/13 but the tracker page didn’t changeuntil...
