It's not my decision whether to buy a new one or not. It's the company that has to decide. If the cost of repair is lower, they will try to straighten the frame. My question is how I could appeal this decision. Is there any way to get information from Ford regarding the damage to this structure...

An update on my truck. Today it was evaluated again by the insurance company, and they are still gathering information to determine whether it’s a total loss or if it can be repaired. Next week, they are taking it to an official Ford shop to determine if those bend rail frames are repairable...

Most of the comments about damage to those rails are about insurance not fixing it but declaring total loss I dont know where to sit on this, today we check the mav and there was substantial damage to several structures down there, including those rails.
