Most racing engines are built, pushed to their limits and rebuilt before they see any of the kind of break in periods people talk about for consumer vehicles.
I didn't say that break-in is a myth. I said there are a lot of myths surrounding it.
Engine break-in is a topic that is shrouded in voodoo and myth. With every technique from "baby it" to "drive it like you stoll it"
It has been covered on this forum.
In short most would agree, with a new car you can just drive it as you would normally.
The manufacturer is less concerned...
The passenger side plastic guard is not the cubby box, the plastic bit you see behind the muffler is the cubby box when I tried it on that side. Other than that it is wide open up the inner bed rails. I don't have the inverter. Behind the blank cover, you can see right down to the ground and the...
If you want a setup like this for camping, you will want to look at a dual battery setup. Check the Overlanding forums and youtube for info on the best way to do this. The last thing you want is a dead battery while your camping. Or to have exhaust gas in your campsite.
The passenger side has a plastic shield that protects the inside of the fender from tire spray. The drivers side looks like it should have something and doesn't.
From Gate King:
"At this time we still do not currently have a GATE KING® set available for the new Ford Maverick. Please note we are already preparing to go into production for this Model beginning January 2022.
However, although production is starting to roll out, we expect it will take a...
If they are rated for 250lbs each and you can make it work with 2 as to not torque the tailgate...
Which makes me wonder with the damper are peoples cables slack... That would be an issue.

I did look at Gate King but it looks like too many moving parts for my liking. At that price I would probably just fab something lik the DG braces I posted earlier.
The 12V connection. It times out at some point but not sure how long. I will test it one day to find out unless someone has the answer.
Although it would be nice if it didn't time out for camping... I have a lot of "ladies of the night" in my hood that might discover a free phone charging...
Here is what Dorman has to offer.

The closest would be the 21" but I am not sure if they are measuring center to center or end to end. It's also for a 350 super duty so it might be for beefier hardware. Amazon.ca sells singles for...
Yeah I might do a little research on some other cable options.
The problem with parts stores these days is the kids behind the counter get so confused if they can't just type in the make and model... I have better luck shopping online most times because I can type the make and model just as...
They make 90 deg camera lenses for phones. Might buy one and try to mock it up with a magnet or something. Would be helpful to see when backing up with the tailgate down.
