Only worry about a battery tender if it's something you do regularly. The truck will just go into its battery saver mode and disable remote access through the fordpass app, but it will do that anyway even if you're on a battery tender. Take it for a half hour plus drive when you get back.
Somewhat encouraging:
"Tesla’s original co-founders aren’t just supporting this project from the sidelines. Eberhard and Tarpenning are actively investing and advising Telo Trucks, marking the first time they’ve backed an EV rival since parting ways with Musk’s empire."

I came from a S10 with crank windows and manual door locks and no working A/C. The driver's door lock was broken on the inside so I had to lock the door from the outside with the key. The feature level of the XL is like a spaceship to me. The idea that I would be bothered by having to put the...
Ouch. Full synthetic at my dealer was $70 and the 6th one is free. But then all my Fordpass points when to replacing a tire with a screw in it too close to the sidewall to repair so you're still ahead.
What I have found is that if I go out to the truck on the 4th day and just put the key on for a few seconds then everything will turn on as it should on the 7th day. So it appears to be based on a timer or the battery management is seeing something with the key on that it does not when off and...
What I did with the plastic trim piece was to remove all of those plastic tabs from the underside and fill the cavity with some PVC trim from the home center. But I have the woodworking tools to thickness and shape the PVC so that won't work for everyone. But lots of people have just put T...
Sometimes I don't even make it to the street before it happens. Opened up the door to find the Fedex guy and he asked about it while complaining about how expensive his F250 was to maintain.
Not sure if this is still true on the 25s, but if all of the seat belts are clipped in before you start the truck on the 24 then the seat belt screen never comes up.
Well I can say that the Noco Genius 5 does in fact make no difference at all, other than getting through the charging levels a lot faster, compared to the 2. Unplugged the 2, plugged in the 5 and it went to just pulsing green in a few seconds. A few days later, lights don't come on when I open...
How do you know what else it was trying to do while you were asleep if you were asleep? How do you know the seat belt dinger wasn't going off for 10 minutes straight and then it turned off and the absence of it is what woke you up?
It's been a month. It always gets to the solid green or pulsing green with no other lights. I do notice that when it is in this supposedly fully charged state if I open the door and wake up the truck it will drop all the way down to the red flashing light and then fairly quickly get back to...
I think I see the problem. The BHEF-48H6 battery in the Ecoboost is 70Ah. The Noco Genius 2 says it goes up to 40Ah. The 5 goes up to 120Ah. I don't know why it cares about that, other than to make you buy the bigger unit, but that must be it. The Genius 1 only goes to 30 Ah so that should...
Short version: I got a Noco Genius2 2 amp charger. It doesn't fully charge my AGM battery so I'm looking for another option.
Long version: I have the Ecoboost so not the same issues as the hybrids. I typically drive the Mav once a week for half an hour in city driving with occasional random...
It's ridiculous to try to make a fuel economy determination based on the usage of 3.5 gallons. Whatever error you have in filling the tank differently from fill up to fill up is going to be more of a factor the less fuel you put in the tank. I get that they are trying to standardize their...
