An obvious breakdown in the manufacturing process. I will be sending my picture to the dealership this week and will let you know if I found out anything .
I have a picture of mine, as noted before it looks just like yours. Unfortunately, no matter how small I reduce the file size of the...
I have the exact same problem on my XLT Lux. Like yours, the driver’s side seatbelt is bad, the passenger side is fine. My Mav was built late Jan 2024. I plan to take it in to the dealer for a repair in a few weeks. Waiting to see if anything else goes bad. So far the passenger seat...
Ok, I don't understand what SYNC I have, or weather I even have SYNC on my MY24 Mav XLT EB Lux.
In the 2024 Manual, on page 386, it talks about "Creating a Vehicle Wi-Fi Hotspot-Vehicles with SYNC3" and at the end of the page, it says the same thing for "SYNC2.5". Neither of those...
Thanks GT500.
I relate to what you are saying about them tracking me, and that does concern me.
On the flip side, I do like the idea of having help to track my Mav, in case it is stolen, but maybe it is better that I stick with the Apple I-tag?
I'm not sure if I have activated the Modem yet...
Thank you paneubert, great insight.
I will have to try driving around with my cell phone off, and see if it communicates back to Ford Pass.
Thanks again.
If our precious Maverick were stolen, would "Ford Pass" Location Tracking help find it?
Or should I keep the i-Phone Tag in it?
How does Ford Pass Tracking work?
1. Obviously Ford Pass gets a "location" update via my home Wi-Fi when I pull it into the garage.
2. It also keeps a "last" location...
Have you ever heard of anyone doing something for the Painted Surface of their Pickup Truck, in order to protect it from the plastic bed liner.
I know, very strange question, but many of us are getting the "Free" Drop-In-Bed Liner.
Prior to Ford making this change for 2024, I was...
My Mav stayed in East Saint Louis IL as well, then went to Walbridge Ohio, then up to Wayne Michigan to off load. The status of the rail car is now "Empty", so I think we are on the right track of assuming the "scheduled to place" is the first status towards "Unloading". Good luck with your Mav
My Maverick arrived by Rail Car in Wayne Michigan today and the CSX Phone Info, has the status for tomorrow as "Scheduled to Place". Anyone have any idea what that means? I have been monitor my Maverick"s Rail location via CSX phone line, but today is the first time they have said "Scheduled...
Wow, Peeturd, that is a great mix.
Not surprising, I use two-thirds of your mix as my Cement Driveway sealer. I use the equal parts of the Mineral Spirits and Boiled Linseed Oil. Got the recipe from an old Cement guy. It works great. I reapply every other fall. No pitting in cement from...
I thinking with all the skirting on the Mav, time to get ready to take on those nasty retainer clips that gives everyone a hard time.
I am fairly confident that this clip is a good replacement.....
Rex Retainer Clip for Ford W708633-S300...
No surprises, so far........
Ziebart continues to have the worst reviews.
Fluid Film (Lanolin Woolwax, etc) is well liked.
Berkebill PFC sounds similar to Fluid Film (Translucent and only lasts for a year?)
NHOU sounds good, but I have not found an installer for this product in my area...
I have spent a lot of hours researching Rustproofing/Undercoating for my Maverick and would enjoy a few opinions, from this group.
My truck that I am trading in, is a 2001 F-150 that still looks fantastic. So, Yes, I try to keep my vehicles in good shape for a long time!
I am especially...
My Mav (AWD XLT Ecoboost) is built/shipped and on the way.
I would like to take it to the Rustproofing/Undercoating Company, as soon as I get it.
To prep for undercoating, I plan on removing three groups of the Under Chassis skirts, that I list below.
Thus, I would like to understand what...
If you want the Hard Tri-Fold design, but have concerns about water leaks eventually coming thru the Folding Hinges over time, you might look at the TonnoPro Hard Tri-Fold. It is completely covered with a heavy gauge vinyl, over the Aluminum panels. So it is a Hard Tri-Fold that looks like a...
Thanks Gavin,
I am 7 weeks behind you, but I think you just answered a question I had, about Rail shipping to NE Ohio. It looks like your Mav is going to Lordstown, (via CSX), which I would think is the same for my NE Ohio Dealership, since we are close to Lordstown. Thanks. Good luck
How do Mavericks get delivered into Ohio? I know that the Mavs come into the country via Rail. But how close does the rail system bring the Mavs into Ohio? At what point do they transfer onto an open truck trailer for transport to the local dealership? Also, are the Mavs inside of any...
