If it's solid black it's probably not a first edition. First edition graphics should be a whole bunch of "First Edition" words close together to look almost solid black acvording to what I saw on Ford website.

On 6/16 I ordered FE, Lariat lux, AWD Rapid Red and just yesterday got build date of week 11/29. Maybe they will have fixed some of the recurring little problems by then.

From what I heard there was only 29 pre-pro Mavericks made. Thought that was a low number but a Ford Employee driving one told me that.
