A buddy of mine has one of each. A 2022 XLT FX4 (EB) and a 2023 XLT Hybrid. We talk crap about them both.
  2. Delete of this recirculation hose??

Difference is, there was less junk in the good ol' days... engines were nicer to look at.

  5. Delete of this recirculation hose??

Just may be the number 1 reason. Thanks for your comment. Guess a lot of people don't care for esthetics. I love the comments on here from the Hybrid owners. I don't remember posting under the Hybrid 2.5 power train section. Except for Darnon and Oscarcat, much respect for them.
  6. Delete of this recirculation hose??

You are exactly right! Thank-You for your knowledge and expertise. I found the following pic online... It's gotta stay!!
  7. Delete of this recirculation hose??

I think it looks so much better, gone. Just don't know what it took for others to remove it.

  10. Changed the eCVT transmission fluid in my Hybrid Maverick

I bought a case of 12 quarts from RockAuto. It was cheaper than just buying 4 or 5 quarts. Last I checked, they no longer offer a case of Motorcraft ULV fluid.
  11. Changed the eCVT transmission fluid in my Hybrid Maverick

On the 2.0 Ecoboost transmission, the excess fluid is drained out of the fluid level plug hole while the engine is running. Putting fluid in is at the top of the transmission after removing the pressure relief tube. There is a baffle in the tube with an eighth of an inch hole in it. So the tube...
  12. 2.0 EcoBoost? Change everything (oil / fluids)!

Changed all my factory fluids at 1 year. Don't drive my Maverick that much, mostly weekend driver with the family. Changed my PTU, RDU, and transmission fluid around 10,000-12,000 miles. My ATF looked just like yours. I will change the fluids once a year. Change my oil every 4,000 miles.

  14. My hood inverted!

I noticed a lot of hood movement on the highway on my Maverick after receiving it. I had a discussion with a buddy of mine that ordered his when I did. He got his Mav 5 months before I got mine. Anyway, we both made adjustments to the threaded corner bump stops of the hood and it greatly reduced...
  15. Way too many issues with my 2023 Lariat Tremor

Not that it matters. But you always disconnect the negative battery lead 1st. (Didn't need to disconnect the +)
  16. LED Bulb Options for Backup Bulb WT21W

I believe all the bulbs in the cargo/3rd brakelight assembly are 921/912s... The WT21W/7W are dual element bulbs in the brakelight rear assemblies, basically a 3057 bulb. Tail/Brake/Turn signal bulbs.
  17. LED Bulb Options for Backup Bulb WT21W

    twice the speed is "Hyperflshing"....
  18. LED Bulb Options for Backup Bulb WT21W

I believe resistors are needed for turn signal bulbs. To eliminate "Hyperflash". Other bulbs just need to be "Can Bus" specific to eliminate dash warning light that bulb is out.
