Based on the way the In Production and the Built dates tend to be the same date, I have a sneaking suspicion they're built, but sitting there just waiting on chips or whatever the restriction is. Much like all of those F-150s that are sitting there. Just a theory.

I hear ya on the color. Not getting the VB was my biggest concern if I got rolled to a '23. I probably would have gone with Cyber Orange if I had.

According to the Ford chat, my build date is now 9/20 and scheduled to be delivered 9/29 to my dealer in PA. Pretty sure that's a pipe dream. Especially if the railway strike happens on 9/16. I'm wondering if the majority of the Mavs are built, just sitting waiting on whatever chips or parts...

Just checked the chat myself. I was pushed from 9/19 to 9/23 (originally 8/29). Still in the same week, but who knows how long that will hold?

Did you get the production confirmation email for any of those dates? I was 8/29, which I found out from my dealer, but after the airbag recall announcement I went on the Ford chat to reconfirm the 29th (which I knew couldn't possibly hold, hence my checking) and they told me 9/19. A week later...
