Maybe for you... I don't have that kind of cash and even if I did I could add mods for less than the price! I would skip lariat altogether and go straight for tremor if I had unlimited $ though. More bang for the buck.

Agreed, I do like heated seats in my cold climate so needs the XLT, but XL is a steal. Lariat purchasers just have to justify their buy!

It's not $750. You have to get the copilot with it! My point as to why it's a rip off. I agree 750 is a good deal.

It is not just $745. You are forced to also get the $795 copilot package if you get 4k. Hence why it is a waste, if it was just 4k that would be a different story for sure!

What are you doing with this tiny thing to need a trans cooler? And if you install one after market, will be much cheaper. You can still not really tow any real trailers anyway! If it was a 5k limit that would be worth, but 4k is too low to validate spending all that money (most of which is for...

My point being it doesn't for the majority, but dealers throw it on to drive costs up and people falsely justify its usefulness. But yes, true!

Most I found were around 3500-4000, true. I would not trust towing 4k with this tiny little unibody, even if ford tells me I can. 3500 is the limit, and again thats very few, niche, items. Maybe worthwhile for some, but the dealers chuck the option into every single car to drive up costs!

Well if all your using it for is commuting, errands, grocery getter, maybe some mulch a time or two a year, then yes your correct, you don't need 4k tow and probably don't even require a "truck". If you do real "truck" stuff, want to pull a decent size travel trailer, pull a decent size boat...

The package includes mostly garbage aside from the towing increase. Plus, I wouldn't really trust longevity towing with such a small vehicle. Would kill the transmission!
