Itās possible. There is an option for the check to be sent to you directly. In my experience dealers usually deduct the $500 from the purchase price and then the rebate check is send to them.
I had one order that they couldnāt figure out how to do it at the time of sale. Then they worked...
I put $3k on it with my latest maverick purchase at Autonation. Pretty sure it was a $5k max with them. FWIW other dealers wouldnāt let me do that or wanted to charge me a fee.
Haha, good for you. They came out with like 4 things added on for me with the base XLT order. Didnāt have to protest much to get those off but I did have to push hard to get a good trade in value. I had done my homework and eventually they came up to matching it.
FWIW, I bought a ā23 at Helfman...
Congrats! Enjoy.
Hope the F&I guy didnāt get you on any of the add ons. Overall my experience with Autonation Katy was good. They worked with me to get the $500 Farm Bureau rebate after the sale which was honestly more than I expected.
Thatās great to hear. I have an order with Chapman that I likely wonāt be pickup up. Maybe I can find a truck locally and still use my private offer then.
Actually Iām pretty sure Tim later corrected this statement. Itās for valid for any Maverick ordered in the same name as the original order. It can work at any dealership but must be be an ordered Maverick.
@fordvideoguy please jump in if this is incorrect!
Ive owned both a 4K AWD and Hybrid.
My driving is mainly city/some mixed hwy. MPG is nearly double with the hybrid. In my case I realized Iām not gonna tow or go off-road enough to make the AWD make sense. Can just rent when needed. Hybrid is the clear winner in my case.
I also have to say there...
Sorry for bringing back this old thread but I have an XL about to be built and really want to do this. Do you remember what the cost was for handles and mirrors. Looks great!
Thanks!!!
