I have read the owners manual and you can turn off the lane centering at any time, including when using adaptive cruise. I stated in my post that I use adaptive all the time without the lane centering. THe issue just happened today that I cannot turn it off.
I use adaptive cruise control a lot. Today, the lane centering icon came on when I turned on the cruise control. Thought that was weird and attempted to turn it off via the button on the turn signal. No luck. And no where in the manual do they address this. When not in cruise, I can turn...
Well, being in Minnesota, magnesieum (sp) chloride is the product used. It sticks and doesn't wash off. I am 76. I am now going south in the winters. Not sure how long I will keep it up. My Lincoln TC has never been exposed to salt. It has no rust at all. It is a 2005. So, I am thinking...

Probably not much difference, but some. I will be fun to test. We will see. I do know it takes 28% more alcohol to product the same energy as gas. That is if you use straight alcohol.
The biggest result is 34.6 mpg. Way more than the EPA estimate.
I tried 91, no ethanol. I ran a tank to rid the tank of 87. Used 91 as stated. Went on a 869 mile trip at speeds of 55, 60 and 70. Some city driving and other starting and stopping. The mileage indicator in the vehicle showed 36.5 mpg. The actual calculated was 34.6. So it was off by 1.9...
You will notice better mileage with non-alcohol fuel. I tested 87 E10 vs straight 87, in my 2001 Ranger several years ago. I tested 5 consecutive fills to ensure all E10, was purged from the tank. My last tank I averaged 20.2 versus 19.4 all highway miles. No real benefit since it was $0.40...
