Received email from Ford stating that those whose 23 mavericks are going to be a roll over to a 24 shall have an incentive for their delays. Ford used the following words: "they will provide consumer with incentive, through the dealer, to offset any non-equipment related price increases.
So i...
Called dealer to inquiry about my 2023 hybrid that was order on september 15th. I desired to know what the private order would
be to offset the price of the 2024 because I did not receive my 23.
Dealer said, Ford doesn't tell you until you get your vin number for the 2024. So, will have to wait...
Just now got an answer from the owner that got the repair for Heat Exchanger, seen in video in my post.
He said the following: "It is covered under the powertrain warranty because it effects the powertrain itself "
I understand warranty of 3 years/36000 miles. There is a part called heater exchanger, which is a box about 12 inches by 12", there is about a 6 foot exhaust pipe that connects the catalytic converter to the north end of the exhaust and a muffler at the sound end. The HEATER EXHANGER is...
right the backs got to be good because hydroplaning i keep the same 2 tires on the back, they stay good real long time because their not like the front tires that are moving left and right while traveling.
i don't rotate the rear tires. they will go twice as long as the front tires. that is...
Can the owner of the truck make the initial program for the keypad?
Will the keypad give a warning when the battery is low, it would be nice before
leaving the keys in the truck, coming back to the truck keys inside and whoops the battery is dead.
also, i went to ford.com saw the keypad for...
You gave an "estimated mix" for 24. 35% for xlt hybrid.
Does that percent represent the 2023 carry overs or ALL orders for hybrid xlt 23 and new 24 orders?
I called for today ask them am I going to get a VIN number I've been waiting 9 months. Why don't they tell me so I can move on and look elsewhere? I ordered on September 15th. They know how many cars they can make so they can just tell me the answer.
So do other dealerships that were not aware of. Their business people thats what business people trying to make cash do. Their not doing what they do for free.
Lm i s a business I don't have any sympathy for them they're there to make money. They come on a podcast to promote their business their company, not Ford. They would do the same if they were Chevy. I do feel a sorrow for the people are waiting for the Ford Mavericks at LM though
.
There are some dealers who have not got their Mavericks ordered for any other customers. The formula for deciding who gets what car and when should be based upon the date it was stamp that Ford received the custom order not just based upon allocations otherwise other places in the country would...
well there are other dealers in the nation that haven't received even one Maverick yet for their customers. so divide Mavericks around to other dealers. No monopolies.
Friend of mine works at tire shop. said "why rotate the tires. The back hardly use tread. So just buy the front two tires when needed.". i tried that advice on dodge van (still waiting for maverick) and is working well after 18 mths. 10,000 miles.
maybe i could have just rotated the front...
Right, but dealer could call customer to confirm that he still wants the roll over. If the dealer has the customers deposit still, then that is good indication they want it. If dealer, manufacturer wants a strong confirmation they want the roll over then ask for a second deposit.
