I think the XL Crew Cab includes the features from the optional package in 2023 so the effective price increase is not that substantial.
It would not surprise me to see Ford get away from packages on Maverick. Spec them like Honda with 4 trims and not many options
I predict the product planning folks thought that AWD/2.0 would be 75% of demand and it worked out to like 38% of demand.
I don’t see the sense in using a traditional driveshaft-driven rear differential on a hybrid. It makes more sense to have an e-axle.
