I have an even simpler question: Does the map that came with my 2025 Lariet come with a Search function? The kind with the simple entry of an address or location nave and, after entering it, the map gives you one or more routes that you can then select for travel/turn directions. I haven't...
Simple slideout mechanical gauge. Less than $5 at Ace. The digital gauges are cute but require a battery and likely don't provide any more accurate a reading.
My '25 Lariat AWD hybrid came with Goodyear "Wrangler Territory HT" tires. At less than 4k miles, there is 11/32" of tread according to my brand new tread depth gauge. That might project to a 30k mile life - not bad but not great.
Great info. For an additional take on volume, I got a 1+ cy load of mulch last weekend, putting a tarp inside the bed extender to keep it from getting into everything and was still able to easily close the toneau. Drove back up the hill to my house like there was nothing back there. :)
I plead ignorance though if I'd seen this comparison earlier I still might have gone with the OEM - used points, no out of pocket expense. Also, I'd had OEM mats in the 2020 Escape hybrid I traded in on the Mav and they were still like new with nearly 40,000 miles.
Just installed OEM mats. Was surprised that the front passenger mat did not have the anchor receptacle. Not sure about the 2-piece rear mats. Wouldn't call the fit around the edges of any of the four mats tight but, then, perhaps they will conform better when it's warmer. We'll see how they...
My hybrid is driven almost exactly half the time on battery. So a recommended 5k mile oil change would be only 2.5k for the engine. A 10k oil change interval would mean about 5k on the engine oil - like lavishing luxury on the engine if using full syn. I plan to do the first oil change at 5k...
The search under "fender flares" was helpful and thanks again, Curtis. Didn't see a lot of negatives, so plan to go ahead with installing mine. Since I'm pleased and proud of having a Hybrid AWD, I ordered and today installed a factory tailgate badge for a 2024 Escape that says "Hybrid AWD."...
It's pretty dry most of the time here in northern California and the State prohibits using salt on the roads, so maybe not a problem? How about the mounting tapes de-laminating?
