I tow with my hybrid. It does very well. I added a 7-pin connector and use a bluetooth brake controller.

I was lucky to find a used one here in the states (MI).

My first mod was the Ford hard cover and elevate kayak racks. I have also added your cargo mesh and center console tray. Very happy with both.

First time out towing with the maverick. It did great! Highway / backroads I got about 28 mpg on the way there. Some freeway on the way home and closer to 24 mpg. Used a Bluetooth brake controller. Everything went really well.

Does anyone who if this bed extender (the one from the youtube video) would work with the hard roll up cover? One of the amazon reviews says it will not. Looking for confirmation.

I waited 521 days. Ordered June 16th 2021.

Mine has been sitting at the Mi assembly plant since September 30th. About 50 miles from my dealer. Numerous other Mavericks have been delivered to my dealer since then yet mine is just sitting there. I cannot get an explanation from my dealer or Ford customer support.

Thank you for posting. I am planning on doing the same. I have a little 9 foot travel trailer that has brakes. I would like to use the charging cable though to charge the battery while towing. Which brake controller did you go with?

I am not seeing that my Order type was changed. My truck is currently on a railcar. Guess I will see what my dealer's ford rep advises soon. I am hoping I am able to get the 0% and price protection.

I just checked and see "ordering FIN order type" went from "x" to blank. And then blank back to "x". Both on the june 19th 2022 date. Not sure what ordering FIN is though. The "order type (vo o22)" was "x-plan" the entire time though.

It should have been Xplan the entire time. I will check for that in vehicle visibility. Maybe they accidentally changed it to retail and then put it back, would that reset the date?

Still waiting for a response from the sales manager but I will quote my sales rep regarding price protection. He said "Every time you update an order (change options) you are subject to new price increases as you re-submit the order for that date." This is Dorian Ford in Clinton Twn MI as an fyi.

He sent me screen shots and when he selected "protection date" it just shows rates from June of this year vs. September of this year. So I don't think that is the problem. I don't understand why my "incentive protected" date is June-16-22. I did not make any changes to trim, or PEP / Body code.
