  1. Rugged all weather floor mats recommendations plz. :)

If you are ok with the slippery hard mats, weather tech style are durable and reliable. I went with the Tux mats, feel like padded carpet under you feet but tough. I’ll never go back.
  2. Doing the right thing with dealer service

My dealer recommended having my Line-x liner done by a business 30 minutes away as they are owned by the same company. So one week after delivery, I brought it up there and it was ready 24 hours later, very nice work. A few weeks later when I tried to use one of the AC plugs, nether worked. I...
  3. Price Protection - 15 Dec 2023 Price Increase

I just brought my original order sheet, they crossed out the sticker price and charged me the original order price. No hassle.
  4. 2023 vs 2024 Floor Mats

I was always a weather tech guy, but I did Tuxmats based on this forum. They cover great, have a bit of “smush” so they feel like carpet. I dont think I’ll even change back to carpet in the spring.
  5. Talk me into or out of the Maverick--getting cold feet

I only have 1500 Millie’s on my Hybrid MaverIck, but I have another Ford hybrid so I think I can comment. I sold a 2011 AWD CRV to get the maverick. Truth be told my wife’s ford Cmax Hybrid with winter tires was better in the snow and ice. Other than maintenance the only repairs on the CRV were...
  6. What is the slot for?

I actually use it to hold my employee ID. It fits perfectly and I always know where it is.
  7. 999 miles with my Maverick and accessories

Oh, and best joke “ saw your new truck next to an F250…this is why you have to listen to the dry clean only instructions “
  8. 999 miles with my Maverick and accessories

I’m now 1000 miles with my Mav hybrid. Love the ride, the MPG’s and and all the modern comforts. I sold a 2011 CRV EXL with 169,000 miles for $8500. It will be interesting to see how much value the mav retains in 12 years. Anyway, accessories: Tux mats-awesome Manet mud flaps- like them, wish...
  9. Almost 14 months but she is home! Kudos to McFarland Ford of Exeter NH, who made todays pickup perfect.

Ford truck guy- You are kinda right. I originally went to order a 2022, order banks were closed. Then I was told order banks for 2023 would open 6/15, then 7/15, then sometime in August. Each time I had to wait. So it could be almost 22 months, or 16 months, or 13 months. I use 14 since August...
  10. Almost 14 months but she is home! Kudos to McFarland Ford of Exeter NH, who made todays pickup perfect.

Amazing dealer experience. Gave me my order price even though sticker was higher WITHOUT ME ASKING! No dealer markup or games. Didn’t even try to sell me a service plan. Not their fault it took over a year, they will get whatever top rating Ford offers.
  11. Teamsters will honor UAW strike (No Deliveries)

I read the articles that I didn’t have to pay for, and I think that the only plants impacted by the teamsters are the ones not making cars, which they really can’t pick up cars from, right? Also, the UAW is striking at the stellantis jeep wrangler and gladiator plant, of which dealers have...
  12. FWD hybrid winter tires?

My Lariat Lux Hybrid should finally arrive in October (9/18 build week). Did any current hybrid owner feel a need to put winter tires on if they live in the snow belt? I currently have a Cmax hybrid and have skipped putting the winter tires on a couple years and never really noticed a difference...
  13. Best "small truck" insults!?

I pointed out a Maverick in a parking lot to my adult daughter who lives in another city “that is what my truck will look like but a different color” her response “ it’s got a big butt”
  14. Finally got my "Another update on your Ford Order" email

Future me getting my 26th “dear John” email from Ford
  15. Finally got my "Another update on your Ford Order" email

Finally got mine “Dear John” email Thursday just before midnight after 56 days. My 5th one since placing my order September 19, 2022. Curiosity question… since I first tried to order a maverick in January 2022 when they said no, I have NEVER seen a hot pepper red one on the road in all my...
