I talked to an owner of a repair shop, said they've had a vehicle for a year now waiting on a part. Granted it was a foreign car, but the standard is the same. If it needs a part that isn't produced in the US, it would definitely be a wait.

I've had this issue too. I'm glad my sales rep receives the emails also because I didn't receive the email that said my order was confirmed. I'd check with your rep.

I wonder if they removed the bed or loosened enough to get a gap? Haven't seen how this bed is attached yet, not sure on the effort it would take.

I guess I thought you were referring to the protection package that involved the film. Although thinking about that now, it's factory, not dealer. My bad.

The films are good for bug guts and mud. Gotta get ceramic coating aftermarket for decent paint protection

They are working on this. There was an article on how they are trying to have all of their models be able to be purchased directly from the Ford website and just shipped to dealers. It will be a few years out though.

I'm confused by this, are you saying you built this out online, got your price and then paid more? I went in with my buildout and am guaranteed to only pay that. Less my way overvalued trade in.

With riding like this would you not consider an actual bike rack? Or even building one like in the "Hack your Maverick" videos?
